I have some rubbish photos but I spotted some cool bits n bobs being transported to Silverstone auctions yesterday.
In total there was a mk2 Focus RS, e46 M3 CSL, 911 2.4s, 993 911, 356 super90, Ferrari 328, 996 911, 944, 924 and a 911 speedster
Having had the bad idea to buy from them a vintage Porsche, I warmly recommend to stay as far away from them as you canIn total there was a mk2 Focus RS, e46 M3 CSL, 911 2.4s, 993 911, 356 super90, Ferrari 328, 996 911, 944, 924 and a 911 speedster
More a warning of caveat emptor on any auction purchase. I'd not trust any of the houses or any of the cars being sold. Assume it's got problems and you might be pleasantly surprised. Assume it's mint and you’re bound to be disappointed.

The Focus has around 900 miles on the clock and still has the original plastic coverings on the seats and door cards. The M3 CSL has done less than 10k miles. In total there was a mk2 Focus RS, e46 M3 CSL, 911 2.4s, 993 911, 356 super90, Ferrari 328, 996 911, 944, 924 and a 911 speedster

Their car they can do want they want with it.
If you want to buy something do 100k miles a year it it then crack on. Alternatively you mothball it and potentially make £20k.
Your choice.

I'm not sure that makes them disreputable (well, any more so than the other auction houses).

I was (mildly) surprised when I visited my first auction to discover that the auction write-up on each car is written by the consignor, not the auction house, and should therefore be filed under Fiction. Never has Caveat Emptor been so appropriate...

A friend sent me these pics, one of the many flash motors parked up in the flat car park where he lives in Zurich. Unsure if it’s an original or a continuation, plate was previously on a V12 Zagato
Aston workshop just sent a recreation out to Switzerland last week , might be that one.https://aston.co.uk/cars-for-sale/aston-martin/db4...

You’ve got a point pal, here you go just to bring us back on topic:
No supercars and nothing rare???? I was finding the variety of interesting cars in the thread refreshing without the usual arguments or snarky comments and don’t care if the thread content stays exactly true to the title. Maybe I was too subtle.
I do hope this clarifies

Can someone point me at the Supercar thread please?
Ah, you're one of the conjunctive comma crowd. There are quite a few from the disjunctive community on this thread.Edited to add: I enjoy the contributions from both.

I agree.(My predictive text was having a marvellous time when I typed that.)
