There is a PH’er around the Beds/Bucks area that has/had an F50 - could be him.

Genuine rarity and great to see it being used.
Yes that was me. Still have it and still being used!

Saw this beauty on my way home from work the other day, a rather rare sight in my small mid beds village!!!!
This picture reminded me of a post Shmee made a long time ago... cannot remember what car he posted but he made sure his photo captured his dash showing he was driving his R8 V10 I think. Really just to show off his own car as it then was. Could have been in the cringe thread hehe

You on the other hand have put the Ferrari to shame by showing you are getting just under 51mpg! smile

Staying at a rather swanky hotel currently and this is parked in the car park, always thought Zagsto were Aston only? Looks odd, not sure if in a good way yet..

Ugly all day. What a strange car, and I can't help thinking of the wee fiat barchetta which strangely I adore!!
It certainly stands out, i’m going to the car park in a bit so i’ll see if i can get some daylight shots, though i suspect darkness is kinder to its radio face.

Thought it might be, cannot be that many F50’s around the area!

Glad it isn’t locked away for fear of adding those dreaded miles - nice to see the garage has grown too.

How do you find the Sport Turismo, I think they are a lovely car but seem somewhat unloved going by how many I have(n’t) seen on the road.

It's actually a brilliant piece of kit, handling and power is ridiculous for something so big. I try to use it as a winter only car and use the others over the warmer months. That seems to be working; do ca. 15K miles a year, about 5K a year with the Panamera.

I've seen a few about actually. About the same as the number of RS6s I see around. They're super expensive estate cars so you won't get that many. One thing though, mine's the turbo, and I think it needs all that power being such a heavy car. Had a 4S loaner from the dealership and it was a deeply horrible, gutless thing. Couldn't wait to hand it back.

Thanks for the information. I think they look fantastic, would be my choice for an everyday car (if I won the lottery).

Alpina Z8

Vantage

Alpina B6 E64

Does an S60 R count as a rarity? I've not seen one for a long time.

And another questionable one for the thread but I'll share it anyway. An Opel Ascona.

I'm sorry to have to agree. I'm beginning to think that the flipped tail and the odd grille are there to try to give it any character at all.

This looks like a nice aftermarket solution for the front end - https://www.evo.co.uk/aston-martin/202715/revenant...

You can change the grill when you spec the car now....

That factory option, whilst still better than the one photographed, looks a bit 'gopey' (is that a word?).

The aftermarket one from Revenant above looks much better IMO.

You can choose between the ugly original or the one that looks like you made your own out of chicken wire...

It's not just the grille though - look at the back of that. I suspect some of it is caused by picking out the edge of the diffuser in a different colour, but it just looks ugly.
