It is a TR40 body kit.
They looked st when they were new !!

On Wednesday I was south of Birmingham (no idea what motorway - I was in full on satnav mode trying to a bunch of commuting nutters)

Heading west at about 18:00 I spotted 'something' and despite my car knowledge (not too bad) and google foo i'm stumped!

Orange, looked like a Corvette C8 (ish) from the front but it had triangular rear lights?

I really only had a fleeting glance at it - any ideas?

Is the only outside clue that is a G60 ,the badges , or are those arches different to a normal GTi ?

I believe the G60 arches were a little wider than the gti ones

Pretty sure standard big bumpered Mk2, t’internet says only 666 G30 GTi’s were made...

Spoke to the guy driving it, he has done a lot of work to it, whilst keeping it standard looking

I thought the G60 Mk2s were all left-hookers, I don't think I recall seeing a RHD one unlike the Corrado equivalent..
