It's not getting any less ugly with exposure, is it?
I saw a dark green Senna on the M40 a few months ago, and I thought it looked brilliant. I think I prefer the new M4...at least that's got a number of good angles. And people have the nerve to criticise the current Civic Type R...
Not spotted as such, but this RHD manual 365GT4 2+2 has just caught my attention on ebay, thought I'd share it here....

Blimey, I remember only a few years ago you could pick one of those up mid teens. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/313520957891?hash=item4...

And even that was asking too much...

Thing is, English roads seem singularly unsuitable for a :snip: V12 Ferrari GT.
EFA.Scotland has some cracking pieces of tarmac and occasionally manages to have low-enough police presence permit proper use of said roads without being a risk-taking Cannonballer (or their ilk*).
But otherwise I'm with you - a long-legged GT needs a big journey and England has very few of them where you won't be stuck behind dozens of 'premium' SUVs bought on hock, cheap faux-SUVs bought to keep up with the Joneses, white-vans and coffin-dodger hatchbacks, none of whom are using their mirrors. For English roads, a good bike, a mid-spec hot hatch or an Elise/MX5 are arguably the optimum choices for entertainment and progress combined.
* To the old boys, no we're not starting that again!

I beg to differ! You may expect that to be so, but the reality is otherwise. We use our 60 year old, manual, V12 250GTE very regularly, and to good effect, on just those roads. In fact it's a lot less stressful than a modern car being quite narrow compared with moderns (I've just measured mine at 160cm, a little over 5ft) You also appreciate how much comfort there is from tyres with a high sidewall, with potholes, speedbumps etc far less jarring. Wouldn't want to negotiate too many hairpin bends given the turning circle of a supertanker, but there aren't too many of those in the south of England. Doofus said:

I've yet to see one of these, in the flesh, or in a picture, in any colour or from any angle that doesn't look really stupid. It's horribly proportioned. Too short, too wide, too tall, too stupid. Why do so many peopke like them?
There’s very few angles that they don’t look good imho. But then if we all thought the same I guess.....
