Is it not the ex-Sultan of Brunei car? Not a wrap if it's the case, although I'm sure that one had a red horizontal stripe around the gap in the bodywork.

Didn't sound much like an 8.0L as it went past

The wagon is a very nice car up close - that photo / angle does not do it any justice

Also the 456 was a nice idea, but I always loved the 412

That is a unique version of a very rare car, as I think I am right in saying that it is the only automatic one built.

I've seen two Fighters "in the metal" and think they are great.

Hi there,

If anyone happens to be in central Manchester over the next few weeks Bugatti Manchester have kindly popped a Bugatti Chiron Sport in a glass box for you to go and press your nose against.

Its one of 20 limited edition 'Les Legendes du Ciel' built as a tribute to the legendary French pilots including Louis Blériot

https://www.bugatti.com/models/chiron-models/les-l...

Stunning car, but a pain to photograph due to the reflections, even with a filter on the lense.

Regards

Tim

The photos of the Bugatti above remind me of the times I had to visit Hunts Cross near Liverpool. On the retail park there was a similar glass box with a Triumph TR7 in for several years. I haven’t had the pleasure of going back for at least 15 years but I wonder if that is still there?

I guess it may only be me that was more interested in the Cortina?

I don't know why you assume that. The Cortina didn't get any comments, but the Chiron only got one, and that was about a TR7.

No, just interested in his collection. It's insane that he has warehouse after warehouse full of exactly the same cars - endless Merc S Classes and BMW 7er just rotting away, as well as the most incredible supercar unicorns like the McLaren F1 LMs.

I've seen one of his one off's out and about - the "CEX1" Rolls Royce - outside Asprey's on New Bond Street which was owned by his brother (Asprey's that is!).

Insane lifestyle - if you have some time, put the kettle on and read this....

So now we know what it would look like if you put a Rolls Royce front end on a Nissan 350Z.

And also, that just because you can, doesn't mean that you should.
