Sounds like Sam Moores (Photographer and Podcast host of 'Car Chat').
Looks like it's up for auction

Looks superb in that colour.

He must be one hell of a photographer!

Does this count as rare? Certainly haven't seen one for years, looked great.

At the very real risk of sounding like a pariah, I don't massively buy into the F40 hype. Admittedly, I have have never driven one on the road, but I have spent hours in and around them, and they're proper shoddy to say the least - which is part of the charm as a no frills track weapon I guess. Which brings me onto my main point that I think the best colours for it are basic and 'tracky' e.g. red or white. Just my two cents.

(I would do things to a 288 that are unprintable)

I’m glad The Market have the opportunity to auction that car rather than the arrogant so and sos at Collecting Cars.

Wedge. Maybe an SEAC, but something tells me no? Any which way - rare and good spot.

Another cracker. What a wonderful thing, all the better being dirty.

The SEAC had different front bumper/lights and an ironing board rear wing, so maybe this is a regular Tasmin with a different bonnet?

Isn't it a 390 or 420 SE?

The model name is on the decal under the door. The first figure looks like a 4. So a 400SE of a 420SE.

These cars are what got me interested in TVRs. Still the best sounding ones in my opinion.

Yes that’s a 400SE.
