Person in the car to override if required. Allowed under laws permitting supervised testing.

Square = poor aerodynamics. Not good for efficient battery energy deployment.

A Lamborghini Huracan STO in Gulf colours at football training for my 6 year old son this morning. Fantastic looking car, but why take it along extremely pot holed country back lanes to football training when your child will be caked in mud afterwards?

A UK Sunny GTi-R. Could maybe go in the Classic thread, admittedly.

Take the spoiler of the roof and it could go in the 'Sleeper thread' - that is subtle! - Weren't they rather quick 'back in their day'?

yes

Steamer - for a Nissan Sunny they were (~200bhp, 4wd), but they lagged behind the rest of the 4wd turbo Jap brigade...largely because they managed to have an engine even less reliable when mapped than the Scooby's boxer-4. hehe

they're actually a remarkable pain in the arse IMHO. Even more than people might assume.

If you follow AndyB on Instagram, he has taken his son to training in the F40 and Zonda.
Great to see them used.

People can’t win on here, on the STO thread ‘another car to sit in a garage and never be used’ a man actually uses his ‘whys he using it he’s just willy waving’ rolleyes

I'm all for him using it. But he knows what state the road is in and that is has passing places. I would be worried about damaging the wheels or the splitter and would be driving at 10mph along it. I'm even careful in my VW Up.

Yes, fairly quick as standard (definitely back in the early 90s) and very tunable; although I think the standard gearbox can be a weakpoint; and a brake/wheel upgrade is need. I think you'd need to do something to the bonnet along with removing the spoiler were you going for the sleeper look!

The bonnet vents are a bit of a give away as well....

Cracking spot.

A (10 year old!!) MP4-12C is still a great thing to see in the flesh.

I think it's the best looking Mclaren of all.

Agree, you’re not alone - maybe a bit underwhelming at launch?…but now, less fussy, better proportioned and hadn’t dated. 10 years has flown by!

Because he likes to drive his cars and maybe does not have much time otherwise, so every opportunity to take it out is a good one? the bumpers and splitters on most of my cars are scratched, broken or chipped - happens when you use your car and can be repaired for a price if required. my dog also rides in the cars (even dirty after a hike in the mountains).
Good on the guy for using it, I applaud that - so much better than the polish and show (or polish and hope it increases in value) brigade.
