The 296 bears the plate EHF 1. I believe that has long since been carried on cars owned by Maranello Concessionaires. The red/blue is their racing team colours since the 1960s.

It was at Goodwood FOS last weekend too.

A quick Google search of images of Maranello Concessionaires shows it a colour scheme that worked back then, but definitely not now. In my own very humble opinion of course.

Agreed - cool as ‘rude word’. Nice loo roll in back window too.

I was going to make a quip about this being the best car here in pages and pages but only if the A/C worked which would be unlikely in a car of that vintage, if even fitted, however you have nailed it with your comment

Lovely cars, I adored them when new and am now off to waste an hour or so in the classifieds and on Autotrader

Cheers

It wouldn’t look nearly as great with stock wheels and a good wash. There’s something about this one that just ticks all the boxes.

The wheels are stock, aren't they? It's just sitting too low.

But when you see one with the BL panel gaps, flakey Lucas electrics, 1980’s rusty cills and arches you may be less excited…..

Jeez that M8 is a rare spot alright. Can’t imagine they sold too many of those, starting at €236k here.

Ok, happy to be corrected. They’re great wheels and suit the car beautifully.
