Supercars spotted, some rarities (vol 7)

The 296 bears the plate EHF 1. I believe that has long since been carried on cars owned by Maranello Concessionaires. The red/blue is their racing team colours since the 1960s.

It was at Goodwood FOS last weekend too.

A quick Google search of images of Maranello Concessionaires shows it a colour scheme that worked back then, but definitely not now. In my own very humble opinion of course.

I was going to make a quip about this being the best car here in pages and pages but only if the A/C worked which would be unlikely in a car of that vintage, if even fitted, however you have nailed it with your comment

Lovely cars, I adored them when new and am now off to waste an hour or so in the classifieds and on Autotrader

It wouldn’t look nearly as great with stock wheels and a good wash. There’s something about this one that just ticks all the boxes.
