One flaw with the plan, how many of a certain age use 'Facebook, Twitter and Instagram': this requirement is going to discourage many from applying.
I'm almost 14 years beyond the minimum age requirement and use all three a lot. Alas, my lack of mechanical ability would no doubt hamper the build!

Please don't let that stop you; we've got Caterham's finest technicians on hand to do all the work... erm, I mean give us advice and make sure we put it together properly. No prior technical experience needed: just enthusiasm!!!I'm all over this!
I've just sent my application through, I tick all the boxes although my social media usage has dwindled a bit recently (hey, I'm ahead of the curve and had twitter before it was cool, and facebook when it was exclusively students only!). As you can see, I also don't post much on here, but do visit the forums daily, so yeah that counts!
Either way, I'll look forward to following this PH Fleet series

Yep, just read this. ...It's almost like PH have chosen this as an low-cost experiment to widen their respective appeal to a younger age group. i.e. previous owners excluded, and invitations according to how many people you've never met follow you on social media.
Should bump up the visitors/impressions/ad-revenue...
I'd like in on this
Correct age banding, local (very), and currently talking to 'A.N.Other' lightweight manufacturer about getting a kit. Could Caterham steal my hard-earned? Do I even have any hard-earned?
Assuming all goes well, Ryan Gosling to play me in the film adaptation
Regular user - reader yes, poster - work in progress.

I'm really excited about this, I can tick every box (I believe!) and I'm available on those days too. Just need enough spare time to craft my application.
I think the best part has to be offering the car out to those helping build it - there's no greater incentive to do the job well than to be the test driver afterwards!

Sadly, I'm not a social media person. Best of luck to someone who is, sounds great.
That is not a criticism of the PH team- I just have a job where social media use can cause work issues. Best of luck to someone who will suit it well- it seems a great opportunity.

For the record, I'm 29 and not a huge social media user. Only have Facebook and don't even use that often. A friend who is 50 plus uses all 3 platforms (and more!) and is on them regularly. I get your point, I do, but come on, this is a great opportunity.

Meanwhile providing pretty much everything but transport there, technical expertise, a months motoring in a Caterham you helped to build, advanced driver training and what will hopefully be a fantastic experience for all involved. How terrible of PH and Caterham to get some marketing and exposure out of this. I pity the poor individuals who get signed up.

Had to look back and check the months usage bit after I saw the above.
"and each month one member of the build crew will get a weekend with it to write their very own PH Fleet update for the homepage"
So just a weekend I'm afraid..
