I've recently noticed this phenomenon in our local car park (M&S). It seems as if after a few years, the handles on the Range Rover Velar return to their natural state of permanently "out".

On JLR electronics. I’ve noticed a few times on JLR products, particularly the E Pace. The wipers parked halfway up the windscreen. That would really annoy me if I owned one.
It’s not rainy when I see this, I know my car and many others wipers stay slightly up on intermittent. This is on nice sunny days.

Isn't it just lazy people turning the car off before the wipers have parked? Seems quite common on just about everything still.

I mean the wipers parked while the cars driving about rather than the car parked with the wipers up.

My car is nice enough to finish the sweep when I turn the car off. No wiper half way up the windscreen here.

Don't all modern car park their wipers automatically after the has been turned off, no matter where the wipers are?

Every bank holiday you’re almost guaranteed to spot a broken down VW Camper/Beetle (normally T1/T2) stranded in a lay-by.

Indeed. £20K to briefly look 'cool' driving about the seafront and then 2 hours looking uncool whilst waiting for the RAC

Often see Mk6 Ford Fiestas with the B pillar trim either missing or flapping about in the wind.

So I was browsing seat ibizas and noticed multple people were selling them without the grilles that go on either side of the front bumper, as well as some small piece that fits on the front end of the side skirts. Made me think of this thread.

It never ceases to amaze me how some people attempt a fix and then take a step back and reckon, job jobbed, I give you the imperceptible Nissan whatever it is…can you spot the seamless invisible repair

The trim is just held on by 3 little sticky tabs. The trim falls off easily. The tabs are a fiddly pain to extract from the door with a pair of needle nose pliers. Once you clear the holes a new trim can just be clicked into place. The trim piece is not expensive.

Ford Focus rear door and probably front bottom door seal hanging off

Once had a brand new Mondeo Mk 4 whose full length lower door seal detached. Took it off, never had any water ingress at all

Really simple job. You can literally just superglue it back into place and it wont hang off ever again.
