This concept is called MG E-Motion.
It supposedly has been given the go ahead for production, and will be unveiled at the Shanghai Motor Show.

With those tyres, they presumably don't know about the present condition of UK roads. - smile

Any talented teenager can draw pictures like that. And let me guess, the interior will be black plastic and the ride will be like a cart.

Looks alright to me. Obvs inspired by several other cars including the Vantage (the front looks a lot like some current Mazda designs), but an interesting amalgamation of shapes to my eyes. Will be an interesting addition to the EV segment for sure if they manage to bring it to market, especially considering the rumored price around the 30k mark.

At least it looks better than the crap they've been peddling since they bought the marque!

Make those rear lights a little more devils ears and that would happily look like a modern xjc

I posted this topic on the Aston Martin forum over two and a half years ago, because the design was quite similar to the Vantage at the time. Remember it was before the introduction of the 'new' Vantage.

The topic came back to life recently, but a moderator has now MOVED this topic, presumably having decided that this car does not look anything like an Aston Martin Vantage.

I don't think this MG is on sale, perhaps it has been canned.

now that looks quite nice - being picky I'd like different tail-lights. I do like that they've got a (fake) grill, seems to give it some character - would like to see interior pics

The bonnet appears to rise to the same height as the top of the windscreen....what great design. I assume its "designed" for people with no more head above their eyebrows?

Mazda at the front and F-Type and XJ to the rear. It's a far better design than the Kia Stinger, albeit that is hampered by 5 doors.

Looks like a complete rip off of this car https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42L5_KCvhnQ

Doubt it will be able to be sold outside of China tbh.
