Well, 88. That's a pretty good old tour!

I've been reading the original once a decade since the 80s. I always seem to find some new aspect in it. I have grown to love how the tale is told, but the ending can bring an unexpected tear.

I've tried Lila a couple of times, but it's just not the same and maybe he is a bit of a one-trick pony. But, IMHE, all motorcycle tours feel exactly how he describes them with friends, ZATAOMM really is a mood book with attitude.

I tried, when I was young, 3 times to read ZATAOMM.
I never managed to get near to finishing it! I'm sure it's in the attic, but I doubt that I'll look for it now.
