No idea what the used price is. Very narrow market I would think.
A friend of mine has one in Canada funnily enough, in Toronto area though and absolutely loves it. It has one of the truly great engines ever made imo and probably will never be an engine like that made again.Prices a year or two ago were actually surprisingly sensible for a car with the amount of engineering that went into it. I'm told it was somewhat of a North American issue though with dealers taking cars and having them sit in dealerships on some kind of lease so one could have gotten a car at a great price when they were coming off that lockup. I looked briefly at one to be imported here but couldn't quite bring myself to sell one of the existing cars to free up space. Perhaps a mistake but one has to be content sometimes i guess!

I had never heard one with the engine at higher revs....it was spine tingling. Wish I had recorded it but I just had an iPhone on the way to a meeting so snapped a couple of quick shots,,,and it left.Prices a year or two ago were actually surprisingly sensible for a car with the amount of engineering that went into it. I looked at buying one a year or two ago. What put me off were the parts prices I was quoted. £40k for a damper for example. Amazing car.
Yeah, prices for parts are ridiculous and supply limited. Was quoted ~£10k for a small bit of carbon in the centre console. And there are only one or two places that sell official parts in the UK.RDMcG said:

Agreed, amazing sounding car and the best thing is Lexus made sure to engineer the car to sound the same inside as well as outside according to my friend with the car. That's one of the advantages the LFA has over the cgt imo - the cgt sounds pretty much as good outside but isn't the same inside the car with the roof up.isaldiri said:

CGT sounds awesome from inside with a tubi IMO Superleg48 said:
I accept that I am likely missing something but I'm afraid I just don't get that car at all at the price it costs.
Some say it has a Beethoven in the engine bay. Think Clarkson once called it his favourite car.http://youtu.be/zAvXKXn1nSU
