Bradford and its surrounding area is one of the poorest places in the entire Western world. It is poorer than Russia and Greece and on par with Romania. In a 2014 YouGov poll, Bradford was considered Britain's most dangerous town. The area clearly has problems (and has had for decades).

Regarding the fight -- it looks like 6 of 1, etc. Taller dude clearly had a height and reach advantage and made full use of it.

Who mentioned anything about racism???
I would call it facts....
Isn't it strange that racism only seems to work one way?
Originally coming from inner city Birmingham for the first 42 years of my life, I can recall many times when my wife and I have been walking through shopping centres or precincts in majority Asian suburbs and have been verbally assaulted by mainly groups of women.
Many a time when faced with a group of oncoming Asian women on a narrow pavement, when passing, very rude comments have been made towards my wife mainly in there native language.
Things like you 'white slag, white bh' etc....
Unknown to them, having worked nearly all my life with some great Asian lads over the years, I do have a light grasp of the foreign language and understand various words and phrases.
I now live in deepest Cornwall, and I for one, do never wish to darken the doorstep of Brum ever again.
Too much truth in your post for the "happy clappy" people .

Three punches and a kick to the head when he was already down and no more danger, ok I understand the red mist but that was plain evil, giving it the hard man, was fair until then, he should go to prison for those punches and kick.

I think when anything about Bradford, Asians or whatever is mentioned, you can almost hear some posters cracking their knuckles and readying the comments, there are obviously issues but I think it is generally more about folk at the bottom of society rather than specifically race or religion, those factors do make things more difficult but I think its a bit too easy to say "Its them, what do you expect ?", and I think there can be a standpoint somewhere in between snowflake and fully paid up EDL member.

As someone who is from Newcastle, lived there until I was 30, moved away to Southampton for 18 years, and moved back a year ago, I can assure you that while it may, on paper, be the same country, in reality the different approaches to life make it seem like living in two different countries with a shared language. Good and bad at both ends, but very different.

It took me almost 3 years to get used to living in the South, after which I liked it very much. Interestingly, I suspect it may take the same period of time to re-acclimatise to my own city. If Newcastle had remained as it was in the 90s, I wouldn't have come back at all, fortunately it's a much better place now.

So, all the north is in abject poverty ? Like I said, good and bad everywhere, I have no desire to go to Bradford, like I wouldn't fancy Tower Hamlets, places like Harrogate, York and all manner of nice places in the North, like there are nice places in the south, and you don't have to choose one to support, it's a bit tribal really.

No, that's not what I said. I said I try and stay away from it, meaning I try and avoid these dumps.

Unlike you (most likely) I was in the unfortunate position of living in Ravensthorpe for a number of years and much of my work was based in Bradford. That took me through Ravensthorpe, Dewsbury, Batley and a lot of the Bradford area so I am more than qualified to comment on what I saw with my very own eyes every day of the week at various times of the day and night. Trying to avoid getting caught up in the regular shoot-outs, stabbings and rioting in Ravensthorpe was bad enough, but add on the 80+ mph races up and down Bradford Rd in AMG'd Mercs and RS/SQ model Audis, the regular brawls and fights blocking the entire road similar to the video posted and then it all escalate in them getting back into their cars and ramming each other, yes I think it's fair to say that to any normal person that would be considered a no-go area.
The Truth is spoken. Many parts of London are the same .
I live here. They really aren't.

Cheap smears about racism won't make the problems a lot of people refuse to discuss or even acknowledge go away.

Invaluable input, cheers. By 'problems' do you mean 'darkies' - or do you acknowledge that incidents of road rage are not limited solely to those up north and with a natural tan?

I've never encountered any no go areas with the exception of Tower Hamlets, Isle of Dogs and a few other spots around east London - but other than that it has been fine.

I think partly it's because I don't walk like a strutting rooster ready to become the alpha of the neighbourhood...

That's the Japanese for you, they dislike your wife for many reasons not least her inability to use chopsticks.
