Sounds quite fun though. which does not seem to have been the author's intention!

I absolutely love my V6 version. Just coming unto 105k. It is absolutely perfect big brother to the Elise (which desperately needs a wash in that photo!).

They do eat tyres if you don't keep on top of the suspension bushes but everything else has been fine on it (except very recently the boot pop solenoid has stopped working).

I'm almost certain there are no facelifted V6 2.5 SWs in the UK (unless imported).
Mine does that intermittently too.

Wait until some little bd snaps off your boot rotating badge. That is no fun to replace.

At. All.

I know we are in shed land but I can't see past the non matching rear tyres. Buying tyres individually should be made illegal ! Previous owners tyre decisions tell you so much about a car.

. . . useful stuff about SEATs . . .
Thanks Dale.
Someone on another forum, was saying that you can get a SEAT Leon FR via Carwow for £16K, I'm not sure if it's a hatch or ST estate & assume it's the last of the 2016 models not the facelift model but that's a lot of new car for a lot less money.

My workhorse 156 SW has just reached 252 000 miles, and running very well indeed. I will be devastated when the day finally comes. It's the 1.9 jtdm. I service it myself, good lubricants always.

Ad says it is sold now.

Nice except for being a diesel. and the tacky aftermarket JVC head unit does nothing for the interior.

But I did really like these when they came out. My boss at the time had a 156 saloon for a while and it was a lovely place to be. You'd want the V6 really tho.
