Quattroporte GTS for same money is so much cooler.
I'd love a QP GTS from 2010 or 2011 as a keeper along with my GranTurismo - there are a couple for sale now in PH classifieds but not in the spec. I want.PurpleAki said:

It's the MC shift version, which in my opinion makes the ride a bit more involving, although I hear it does shorten the clutch live.
An easy car to drive day to day, great for long GT journeys. The exhaust note is very melodic and the overrun and downshifts sound magnificent. Infotainment unit is outdated, but I don't really use it much so it's a non issue.
The 4th year service bill was a bit eye watering though.
One of the most enjoyable cars to drive at legal speeds.

I notice that prices for nicely specced GranTurismos, like this one, are now nearly on parity with the older GranSport.
This is a bit tempting; I think my GS is a fantastic car, but they were never built to the highest standards and after 12 years of use it is starting to feel a bit fragile. It still drives like new, but every year it costs more to keep it feeling fresh.
It looks like I could swap my GS for a younger (and healthier?) GT for not much extra money. I'd go for a 4.7 MC Shift like this one.
Has anyone gone from a GS to a GT? How different are they to own and drive?

These look stunning in red . Was the 4th year service at a Maserati dealer?
