One of my biggest pet hates in cts who stop at rounabouts needlessly. You get overtaken because you are a nuisance. And rightly so.
^ This. I'd have done the same seeing as there was no reason for you to stop. Learn to drive.

Think I might start driving around frustratingly slowly to see how many legally gray manoeuvres I can incite. Or... I could NOT do that.

It wasn't clear, the camera just doesn't show what's happening to the right.

To the right of the clear roundabout where a Toyota-fking-Yaris overtook you and went clearly and cleanly on its merry way without bothering anybody but you.

If plod had been there, which one would have been stopped? Not me!

Ok then, here's one. Let's see how many people think this Yaris's overtake was safe and legal. (It was illegal and unsafe.) redface

The visibility to the right is poor, and there was something coming, and I think it slowed when it saw the Yaris.

The visibility looks absolutely fine to me confused. Maybe you should book an eye test?

The black car that appears on the roundabout 10 seconds after you've stopped would have been somewhere up at the end of that row of terraced houses when you arrived at the roundabout so there was absolutely no reason for you to stop at all. Please send your DL back to Swansea and ask for it to be cancelled and perhaps exchanged for a bus pass.

You've obviously never taken any advanced driving tuition, "plan to slow, prepare to go".

You're a right MLM who appears to frustrate other drivers.

Why did you wait so long at an empty roundabout?

M4cruiser, can you let me know when you'll be driving out and about? I feel the need to overtake someone just for kicks.

Ok gott, Newbury bypass, A34 southbound, in the morning, about 6.35am.

(Actually I prefer the town centre route - lots of roundabouts!), like this one:-

Try watching it again - the Yaris comes past immediately. I'm watching for possible cyclists coming down the hill from the right. After I'd stopped and the Yaris had gone, there was nobody behind me. You need to really think about it ...
