I think this is a standout product in the road-legal trackday market. It has racecar downforce without the use of wings. It has a power-to-weight figure that’s very competitive. It has luggage carrying capacity (and apparently the road manors) to make it realistic to drive to and from the track with a passenger. And it should match the lap times of anything that didn’t arrive on a trailer.
If £100k is a financial stretch, then it doesn’t make sense. But if you’ve already got a supercar, a fast estate, and a daily saloon, and a taste for trackdays, then this would make a fine addition to the stable. (I think the trackday special cars are often the 4th or 5th car in the garage.)
Beauty is of course in the eye of the beholder, but I don’t think the RP1 matches the Lotus 3-11 or BAC Mono for looks (I think the Mono is a work of art). However, if I was in the market to spend that sort of money to fill the track-toy space in the garage, I would give this serious consideration.

For £100k I think I'd want the doors painted as well.

Doors? Who said anything about doors? That's not even an option.
