Before anybody gets overly excited, the first line is not an exotic Swedish car but Årsmodell and Fuktig mean 'Model Year" and "Wet" (as in road conditions) respectively. It's not that often that my rather rusty Norwegian comes in handy.
I've read a lot of discussion on this thread about rusty Italians, but I never thought I'd read "rusty Norwegian" V8RX7 said:

not even the same car, that looks like a Probe
And the edit makes no sense
If you look down the list you'll see the speed recorded for an Active Xantia (admittedly a V6) is 85km/h it is the fastest speed recorded !And the edit makes no sense
A Civic Type R could only manage 76 and an R8 V10 managed 83
PH really ought to add an intelligence test to register
I would bet not many know about that thing .....
FYI, I would have been very happy to have appoligised, now however you can have a poke in the eye with a Cadbury chocolate finger
A google shows a few in action, this chap is brave

This isn't especially rare, but it is one that gets my goat.
"Very Rare with this engine/specification (only FOUR 1.6 Sportings left registered in UK according to howmanyleft.co.uk)!"
So, first of all there isn't (https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/fiat_punto_sporting#!engine) - there are 4 'licensed' and 33 'SORN', so that makes 37 left (seriously, why can no one read data from that site).
Furthermore, his is untaxed, so technically it's not even in that number.
I haven't seen many mk1 puntos around though, despite the reasonable numerousness of them according to HML.

Shame it's auto and would look absolutely no different if the photos were taken with a sepia filtercj2013 said:

I'm probably one of only a few that do, but I really like the look of this:"Very Rare with this engine/specification (only FOUR 1.6 Sportings left registered in UK according to howmanyleft.co.uk)!"

That seems well priced. I also like the Clio alternative as it had the peppy 1.8, this low mile example is priced so high as to not likely be driven, which is a shame. Small, posh, nippy, leathery, what's not to like? £4k Baccara, but only 10k on it. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2019...

I think they were available as a 1.7 manual or a 1.4 auto iirc
This is my memory too. My mum had a 1.7 GTX, basically a Monaco without the leather, from new. Was a good car. Fast enough, much better handling than normal 5s and not as bumpy as a turbo. The intake manifold mysteriously warped. According to man in main dealers it was a known problem for cars in the South of France and Spain but he couldn't understand how my mum had managed to get the under bonnet temperatures so high.
Cue hard stare from my dad to me (I was 17 at the time).

Even better than the Monaco. What a cool little thing. You don’t seem to get these little cars with a luxury spec any more in the same way. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2019...

I drove a 1.8 Clio when they first came out as a potential replacement for the 1.7 GTX 5. The Clio was no faster but felt better quality (doors didn't twang shut etc). 5 more fin to drive but I know which one I'd rather crash. I came back and said to the salesman how I was surprised the Clio wasn't faster (being a 1..8i as opposed to a 1.7 carb). He told me that the had sold the 5 as being one of the lightest in the class and sold the Clio as being one of the heaviest (and therefore safest).
Didnt think I'd see one of these again, 2004 Rover 25 Streetwise 1.4. 49k miles, great condition, £1495

Streetwize was 15 years ahead of its time. Would have done well in today's market of naff soft roaders!
You’re right there. Look at how the Nissan Juke has done. Ugly, but a bit pumped up is now a thing. Good find. Why I like this thread (no one said you ever have to buy the cars on it!) Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
