It looks like he finds cheap cars in France and sells them here. His eBay history is worth a look - some cheap cars.golfer19 said:

I like these Xantias. £1,250 for an exclusive HDi estate seems ok. A bit retro by now surely?!

I'd be tempted by this for a fun runabout. Not cheap, but very cool.

I am not usually a fan of modified cars, but this little cti with a V6 looks like fun. The wheels would have to go back to original though. https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C954851
That CTI looks good, quite like the wheels as they give a clue to its conversion.
Hope it gets a dirty great plate welded to its floor otherwise the legendary floppiness will be off the scale.
Properly sensible ultimate dadwagon

Wow, I never even knew these existed, let alone in RHD. There must have been a tiny number made?Another reasonably priced rare practical to own retrodadwagon.
There's something reassuring about a proper Volvo estate. For me this means none of your touring car, big wheeled nonsense. Zero sportiness. This fits the bill rather well: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Volvo-940-estate/282855...

Agree, but it's not going to be a £5k car. The owner paid around double that, although by the sounds of things it is worth it for someone who wants a potential concourse car.Fairly tempted but it'll be top top money from a W115 (with a blown heater fan too).
£1500 from a garage at the southern tip of sweden beside the bridge to Denmark.

I can't remember the last time I saw a Fuego - even in their day a Turbo was a vanishingly rare sight.
Looking at this thread, I am surprised in some ways that the 'classic barges' - Mercedes W126/W124, Jaguar XJ40 and BMW E32 aren't posted here - but are still put in the 'Smoker barge' thread. They're too old for that now. Habit, I guess.
