Private seller, one owner, 21k miles, and only £995?

Somebody buy it before KGF nabs it and sticks it up at £2995!

Mad! Mine is better than that. Perhaps it should be in the overpriced thread?

Because they drive Corsas I expect.
A friend of mine has had an A2 for years, and plenty of trouble with it on the way. The diesel engine sounds more agricultural than a tractor.

I think you may need to rethink that.
I'm not too up on the value but it's very low miles, great colour with a great unmarked cloth interior. Those are the physical elements. The A2 itself was a great design study in packaging, aerodynamics and modern styling. It should have been as important a step in car design as the original Mini but it was when Audis were focussing on quality over style and were 'expensive'. The new Mini also made its debut around the same time which were more appealing to many due to the 'fun' nature and the nostalgic styling and overblown 'cool' advertising campaign.

That may sound dull and boring but great design and enduring quality should matter more than fashionable 'styling'.
I appear to still have some ' left. '''''' there, all gone now.

Anyway, small rant over.

Clipper for less than £3k?

Coupe 16V for under £4k?

The A2 was, IMHO, too early. They've long been on my "nice to have" list but have not yet made it into my garage. As recently as a few weeks ago I was pondering an apparently nice example for a lot less than the one above. Whilst I pondered, someone else bought and saved me the trouble of explaining another needless purchase. They have their foibles and some parts and processes are expensive but there's an awful lot to like going on in that package. Even if you don't like it, there's a lot that's worthy of respect and appreciation.

Yes.
I think if they did a bit of a reimagine without ballsing it up Audi could have a cracking little city EV.
