The A2 was, IMHO, too early. They've long been on my "nice to have" list but have not yet made it into my garage. As recently as a few weeks ago I was pondering an apparently nice example for a lot less than the one above. Whilst I pondered, someone else bought and saved me the trouble of explaining another needless purchase. They have their foibles and some parts and processes are expensive but there's an awful lot to like going on in that package. Even if you don't like it, there's a lot that's worthy of respect and appreciation.
Yes.I think if they did a bit of a reimagine without ballsing it up Audi could have a cracking little city EV.

I think we'll see a raft of retro influenced EVs. It could be used as an emotional incentive to get people to make the switch. VW have already committed to it and it's likely to be a smash hit. There's still time to get into the real thing though.
The retro thing came and went and the styling isn't really the issue though the current crop are as boring as f***.Nobody really needs any incentive if they're banning other cars by 2030.
What they need is lower prices. No way am I spunking £30k on a car which is the eqivalent of a £15k petrol car because £15k buys a lot of petrol.

Interesting little slice of 90s nostalgia, and very rare, but £7k is very strong money for a posh Fiat Tempra!carinaman said:

Interesting little slice of 90s nostalgia, and very rare, but £7k is very strong money for a posh Fiat Tempra! It’s 30 years old, with one owner and low mileage, and it was Lancia’s last new model before they pulled out of the UK market in 1994. It’s never worth seven grand, but it’s worth something to an Italian car enthusiast.

Good looking little thing but £1750 for an old 205 with 103K on it is somewhat abitious. p4cks said:

I can't see much evidence of Barrying , just the wheels ?
Even says "unmolested" in the description .......
I'm sure Saville said they were "unmolested" when he handed the kids back to their parents, or closed the drawer in the motuary Even says "unmolested" in the description .......
Wheels and tints are gash, but otherwise it seems standard. I seem to recall they're not very fast though, with weird gearing?

That came up some time ago. It's done virtually no miles in the last year and 1200 since 2011. It looks quite nice though, and you don't see that many about. Edited by ZiggyNiva on Thursday 29th April 18:03

I remember benning constantly surprised at the time that they didn't do better in magazine tests. The non sporty models were lauded for handling and you expect the sporty ones to be even better, even if a bit down on power compared to some rivals. That must have been a different car. This car has only done 24k miles and the MOT history is pretty clean.
It’s 30 years old, with one owner and low mileage, and it was Lancia’s last new model before they pulled out of the UK market in 1994. It’s never worth seven grand, but it’s worth something to an Italian car enthusiast.
It was a different car, it was some last of the line limited edition extra power Dedra with the elephant badge and luxurious Alcantara upholstery. I suppose the seats may have made a nice set of those car seats as man cave seats. It’s 30 years old, with one owner and low mileage, and it was Lancia’s last new model before they pulled out of the UK market in 1994. It’s never worth seven grand, but it’s worth something to an Italian car enthusiast.
