Saw one on the Thames many years ago. I think it was Mr Dutton himself at the helm

These are a fun novelty, but I've never seen one out in the wild, and I can't imagine who might need or want one?

It's attracting plenty of bids, so clearly there's strong demand for it!
Useful if you live on Lindisfarne or another island with a tidal causeway.

What a POS.
It's not like it's 1995 and he's selling it to Mrs Miggins as a cheap runabout, anyone bidding on that knows exactly what they're looking for. Seems pointless to lie

Seems the advert has gone and the 2600 IL6 was detuned so as not to tread on the toes of the V8.

Would some sanding and wrapping make it appear more presentable?

I'm struggling with this one too... there are 5 bids to get it to £2900!!

its done 123k - no MOT - various 'excessive corrosion' fails

And I'm guessing it smells like an old tent.

Which unique selling point am I missing?

I think this might very well fall into the "Rare but no one cares" category.

MKI Panda 4x4's make good money and the Y10 is basically a posh/quirky one of those, even if this one is a bit rough, so I can understand the price.

I know, that's why I pointed it out, I've been looking for a LHD one for a while, just not sure about the price?
