1993 on a K-plate - does that qualify for classic status yet? - Can't remember when I last saw one that wasn't rotting on a drive way.

...don't get to excited - It's just the GT4 bonnet (and gearbox)

Very cool (well not so much the wheel and wheels, but very period)

P10 Primeras are much prettier than P11s. Shame this one has been parked by feel.

I love this era of US cars, the arrogance needed to put that interior into a sporty coupe.

In fairness, the Americans have always been in love with 2 door cars and coupes and have never pretended they are sporty. The old V6 Mustang didn't even have a rear sway bar and was limited to 115mph so they could cheap out on the tyres.

The Japanese seemed to copy the plain interior mantra for many years.

But at least the Japanese interiors don't look quite so Fisher price and the US car industry hardly did well out of all that 90s/00s cheapening.

I like rubbish cars almost as much as good ones. Very evocative of childhood memories of going to the US around 2000.

I still think these look good. My Father briefly had a 2.0 as a company car and I remember being impressed buy the bodykit/wheels/big exhaust. He thought it was crap.

Not seen one of these for a while, 1992 Mazda 323 LX with only 32K on it, maybe a tad pricey

That's been for sale for a while. Would maybe make an interesting modifying project, but as ebay has proven, not at the price they're looking for, however low the mileage.

I had one of those. I lowered it, obviously. I don't think there has ever been a car more in need of lowering. Put the original springs back on when I sold it.

A distant relative's friend's family owned a Renault franchise and I was once went with them for a day out to a remote beach on the West Coast of Scotland. Even though my parents had a w124 300E and a V6 Granada Scorpio at the time I still remember how ridiculously comfortable the velour seats felt in the Saffrane. Felt pretty exotic as a ten year old at the time too!
