Last DauwtrappeRS Gruppe (Dawn Raid) Cars & Coffee in late August 2021:

Back to the 70s with this G Model and fantastic family Merc.

3 litre Targa and 912 jewel.

First entries on the holy Helmond grass. The green was too inviting not to...

Certainly not an Audi fan but this S5 Cab gets my vote.

Star of the show was this excellent BMW 635 M6. One of the best looking coupes ever built.

Back in the Mercedes-Benz vault:

Great looking 190SL tailed me all the way to the Reinier (R) vault.

Period stickers love here...

Ouch, lovely family treasure one owner 220S Heckflosse.

190 Ponton gets my vote: in 1953 it was the 1st mass produced crumple zone car. I believe this one has the same / similar four pot as the 190SL.

Yes, that's w123 pair you might recognize from the recent Mercedes Enthusiast w115/123 article. Basic 1978 w123 200D and my favorite 1978 Ikonen Gold w123 230C.

25-09-2021: visiting a 63-piece Mercedes-Benz collection.

A rare sight. Reinier has all 4 Adenauers lined up. Insane...

Woop woop: US spec 300D. That's a non turbo 5 pot 3 litre 85 brake diesel folks.

More dieselpower: W123 200d in Signal Rot.

Ikonen Gold w123 230C is a favorite in the collection. A whopping 105 brake and 4 speeds and gorgeous Pullman interior. Gimme gimme.

Hurst shifter in this 302 Boss Stang. This one begs for a drive.

Turbo Cab is the ultimate weapon. Hands down.

Is there any car more 70s car than a Peugeot 504 Familiale?

Cisitalia 202 D with Mille Miglia dust still on: I like it.

The same thing inside: one of only 150 jewels. Big 160 ps 2.8 litre fourpot in a 850 kgs car.

And then we met this 1977 Rangie owner: phew, we like it.

A rare sight on the streets is this 1978 VW Golf GTI Mk1 equipped with a 180 ps 1.8 16v from a Scirocco.

Big 90 ps Bug and Dutch novelty ride Canta.

You may keep your La Ferrari. How cute is this original Polo? It's not easy to find tires for this little fella.

Few weekends back Heritage Cars Delft opened its doors for a Cars & Coffee:

A https://autobedrijfbrinkman.com/aanbod-autos/ Giulia caught my eye.

Porsche pack from my neighbouring town followed my tip to appear.

Tiny Cisitalia with big 2.8 litre four stole the show.

There seems to be quite a story on this prewar Singer. Check this detail...

Emmanual's big 90ps Bug with the hip Wolfsburg wheels.

Fantastic dawn raid outing with 15 cars and a pro shooter. Pee stop here.

Perfect - patina - 1970 Lancia Fulvia series 1

Big applause for the 1977 Range Rover series 1. Nice RV8 in perfect nick. Owner brought his son. Kudos.

This used to be a 911T but there has been some serious work done to this gem.

Catterpillar Yellow Citroen 2CV commerciale. It does not get any more rudimental.

Fiat 850 family bus.

Metropole Druten has quite a few smart cars in stock. Like a dozen 300SL jewels... Insane.

Random 996 meetup:

GTR3RS it says...

2004 Mitsubishi CTO EVO 7 might be an ugly duckling it's still a nerve wrecking quick car. IMO the last breed of the really involving drivers cars.

More on the Merc collection:

Heckflosse love here. This magnificent grey beast is powered by a diesel.

Reinier has all four Adenauers in his stable: A, B, C and D. Majestic cars and for me no match for a period Rolls Royce and Bentley. Serious.

Very nice Ponton six pot. I believe this is a 220.

Hidden on the premises are a pack of 70s US classics. The screaming chicken does not fail to draw attention.

Epic 302 Boss and red 351 beg for a drive. I will pay for the gas.

Cars & Coffee but the weather was not so good. Only 4 cars turned up:

993 C2, 911CS, 1968 912 and 993: all manuals of course.

Insane smart looking 993 C2 on BBS jewelry.

The wheels up close and personal.

Special Porsche 964 rebuilt to WTL guise with 993 engine.

Why? Well, because the owner did not find their ultimate 911... The 993 six has slightly more torque and the sports zorst booms more than the older spec six.

This cab is comfy and it stands out. But not too much.

Interior spec is especially nicely done. WTL wide body looks the part. Only 2 original cabs came in WTL looks.

Catch of the day:

Alfa Romeo Montreal has to be one of the prettiest 70s cars. Gandini design.

GT office. It's not a racer although it has the 2.6 litre dry sump V8 in.

PUUR Porsche meeting 2021:

The R Gruppe Olive looks great in the flesh. Still too tidy for my taste.

Yellow headlights seem to be hip.

Porsche 912 always looks great in my eye. And they drive superb. Who wants a six anyways?

More from that meeting:

Facel Vega HK500 packed with patina.

Geez it's a G. Absolutely my era of 911.

Lots of Americana to enjoy.

R Grupper Han brought his rare G Speedster.

Where the old meets the new. The new does really nothing to me.

Rare stuff at the HeritageCars Delft C&C:

Look at this. Look. At. This! All eyes on the Mk1 Golf with a 180 Scirocco plant in. Rock hard but I need to experience it myself.

Wibble. Name the 3 rare cars here.

Insane Alfa Romeo Montreal with all the patina. It's smaller than you think.

This gorgeous Citroen Traction Avant has to be my favorite car of the meeting.

Beautiful Citroen GS(A): the red one has 1,3 milllion kms under it's belt!

Super rare Citroen Bijou.

That was a good day: tailing three 911 Outlaws in a diesel Fiat Punto. Interesting! Shoot for RS Porsche Magazine / spring 2019.

Puur Porsche 2019 scene.

At (Dutch) Speed Service / Olav Gelissen the Porsche brand is honoured and worshipped. Check out this clean 964 RS. Because a regualr 964 is way too comfy in my eyes.
