2018 flashback with this gorgeous Dino Ferrari 308GT4:

Fast forward cabin adds to the sensation of literally eating the roads. Three litre V8 is a peach and comes to life above 4k.

Office perfection. Dogleg box feels wonderfully mechanical and seating position is spot on.

One of Gandini's masterpieces and only one of the handful designs Bertone offered to Ferrari.

Interclassics Maastricht Dec 2022:

Insane looking Bizzarrini 5300 GT America https://www.speed8classics.com/classic-car/513/biz... looks as new.

Completely fresh car with zero patina. Or did I look passed it...?

Same here with this mint looking 250 SWB.

Pre war cars get my vote. There's just so much to see and they all look different.

A Lancia favorite is this Fulvia 1300 S with Zagato skin.

October 2022 celebrating 60 years of Alfa Romeo Giulia / 105-series:

Rare in red.

Alfa Giulia 1600 Super Biscione in all its glory.

Lovely in bumperless fast road spec.

Open workshop meant business: enthusiasts love to wander around the antics and ask around.

Classic Italian family hack interior.

The occasional GT/GTV coupe is never far away.

More Interclassics MECC (January 2023) bits:

Absolutely one of Gandini's finest moments: the glorious Maserati Khamsin, equipped with a 4.7 or 4.9 litre four cam V8.

Equally insanely gorgeous is this V6 Maserati Merak by Giugiaro, resprayed in superb yellow.

Not too many 911 this year. This rally guise SWB looked great.

Pagoda Benz jewel caught my eye.

Spoiling the PH car community with more from the 2022 60 years Alfa Romeo Giulia meeting at the Alfa Romeo specialist van Neerijnen grounds.

The sight and sound of victory.

Aero designed in the windtunnel was a mass production first.

Perfect colour on a perfect saloon nose.

The cars look the same, until you look closer...

Star of the show was this Bisc jewel.

More 2023 Interclassics stuff:

Great kit from the https://www.speedservice.nl/ Dutch Speed Service outfit.
This is their 3rd outlaw based on a 964 Targa and powered by a 3.8.

Maybe think again before you order your Singer.

Nice freshly painted Lotus Esprit 2.2.

Ferrari Daytona love here.

The Chris Amon March 701 (1970). At the time he drove this F1 with Jo Siffert, Mario Andretti and then March F2 pilot Ronnie Peterson.

Completely out of my comfortzone:

Massive 1957 Cadillac.

The mind boggles if you think how these cars were made and used in a country stepping into a new era.

Compared to European cars these Yank Tanks were made to last. So much beter thought through...

Last 5 pics from the InterClassics 2023 session.

The excellent Alphons Ruyl Fine Classic Cars display was an absolute highlight: no fancy million dollar machinery but ordinary cars looking their very best: either cared for or dripped in unrepeatable patina. Simply gorgeous.

Pagoda love here. But the Ferrari Dino 208GT4 and the Alfa Romeo GT Veloce are not bad either.

DauwtrappeRS fitting and the Porsche 914 ticked some boxes.

The Maserati is a recreation - and a fine looking one - but the Lancia Flaminia is the real deal.

Racy Lotus Elite offered by Hans Hugenholtz. A must have for any classic racer who likes to full throttle every race.

2 May Baraque Luftgekühlt meeting:

A bit cold in the evening so not too much Bugs.

The odd spot: 964 RWB tribute, Karmann Ghia and Mk1 Golf GTI cab.

Toys for boys.

Never say this one before...

The incredible story of Gino who was curious about an old Daf 33 when at school and thus started to understand classic cars are so much more fun to work on.

A few years ago he built this Tulip Rally winning Alfa Romeo Giulia. Great guy, great car.

This road legal hot rod is now sold and Gino built another national rally chap: a Giulia GT Veloce which came in 2nd at the recent Tulpen Rallye.

More Alfa: focus on 60 years 105-series, introduced in 1962.

Carter protection: a Giulia does not like speeds bumps...

Great colour, as long as the car is all shiny.

I love the details on 60s and early 70s cars. As from 1974 the Nuova series changed direction and added plastic and a more modern interior.

A peek in the workshop: love to come here.

Mercedes-Benz CLS 450 4Matic.

Straight six three litre is a mild hybrid with 367 ps on tap.

The CLS is a big car and weighs in at over 1,800 kgs. Room for four adults and comfort galore.

Expect a mix between E- and S-class in the interior departement: I love it.

A really nice car and for me a prime example of the perfect family sedan.

Alfa Romeo saturday: trip with 20 enthusiasts to the Arese workshop (engine rebuilder), Van Neerijnen (Alfa specialist) and Tachyon (classic and modern racing, turbo tech and marine stuff). Pretty good day.

At a recent meeting I commented on the lovely colour! Loving the wheels and ride height on this 1973 Giulia 1300 Super.

All lined up. Well, only half of our Alfa posse in this shot. All sorts of everything. From late 50s Sprint to recent Giulia sedan.

Nice S4 Spider next to the 1300.

Trusty FWD gang: two litre 2006 147 and 2003 GTa 3.2 V6 animal (270ps).

1975 GTV 2000 on my tail en route to our first coffeestop. And I want one.

More bugs:

Beetles from the 70s are still favorites. It's actually incredible that these little cars were produced for so long: until 1978 in Germany, and until 2003 in Mexico.

The odd one out.

Wonderful VW Transporter and beautiful Karmann Ghia: between 1955 and 1974, half a million units were produced!

Dutch Octane Scramble 03: over 350 vehicles and superb weather!

Teaming up with DauwtrappeR Merijn and friend. He met a mate with his C2 327 at display, all polished and looking mega. A bird had marked the hood though. Merijn found cleaning gear to save the entry!

Almost done.

Gorgeous DT Pantera s1: spotless.

The variation is great. Most cars had a clean up.

The Vincent de Pincent Diablo I had to touch up in Photoshop...

More Alfa Romeo:

You'd think a 147 is nothing much, but you'd be wrong. Most 1.6 TS and 1.9 diesels are gone or in bad shape. Most V6 powered cars are 8k or more and beyond most folks reach. Also they are not easy to maintain and drink E5 like a sailor. Try finding a decent twolitre...
And then drive one: lighter than a 156 and 916 and thus pretty quick.

Ouch, how pretty is this coupe? Fresh high torque twolitre in. Stance perfection.

Fantastic looking High Torque Arese Trade built. And yes, curved intake coming soon.

Not a bad entry.

The JP service car. Loving it! Nice Sprint 1600 was the oldest car in our pack.
