Mercedes-Benz A250

With 211ps and 4-Matic (AWD) this family compact is fine company. Err, when you have a small family...

Inside it's typical Benz quality: in 2018 cars like these had decent size screens.

Top spec non-diesel is the A45 381ps bomb on wheels. But this one would serve me well as a daily.

Rare w110 Heckflosse by Binz

Only a handful were made and this is a rare unrestored example

Only 55ps coming from a 1.9 litre diesel

So much space and comfort: I love it.

Sometimes I scroll back through the history of this thread and it's a reminder of how beautiful many cars were in the past. But then there's this. If you painted it black and used it as a hearse, I still wouldn't want to be seen dead in it. smile
To each there own, I guess.

Kitcar grocery visit:

Since 2021 it's impossible to import a kitcar to the Netherlands and plate it... What a country.
Owner Bas has a vast collection of interesting kits already with plates sticked on.

Seven variation with Fireblade terror: omg what a thing. Easily one of my most intense car experiences.

Any Ultima is a sure match for any supercar. Period.
I did a CanAm once and it's mega. This German car came in for a service. Any V8 in the back will do.

Volvo P1800 used to be a regular classic found in city streets. This example is a true showpiece.

RaoW has a nice and not too big collection of affordable classics, complemented with one or two highlights of car history.

If you ask me Mercedes-Benz did the best interiors in the 60s, 70s and 80s. Not the most beautiful, but the best.

Insane Daytona and gorgeous 275 stole the show. Although there's an early Countach at display today...

Modern kit in the cellar: Porsche 991 GT3RS.

Prewars are my favorite. If I only had a garage. Check this Bentley 4-Litre H.J. Mulliner Saloon.

Very nice 911 SC in brown and coffee latte interior with cloth seats!

My scruffy Spider on winterwheels and with Sahara sand... Sorry!

1970 Alfa Romeo GT Junior 1300

1981 Alpine Renault A310 is a sure favorite. Not many drove cars like these and they were often overlooked. From experience I can tell these are practical and not expensive to run.

A TVR Tuscan is a rare sight and sound in these areas. Good to see this one still sits on its original Spiders.

Lancia Flavia are another hidden gem lost in the practical classic category. A mate racked up a million miles in an 1800 convertible.

December 2023 local Stupid Car meet:

There's a vibrant low rider Yank scene over here in our area.

Paul's 944 Turbo looks like the perfect daily hack to me.

A Ferrari 512 is a rare sight. Paired with an early Lamborghini Diablo is not very common as well.

The Pablo 996 is a crisp looking thing.

Yeah, well. Cleaning is not my thing. In the meantime I've upgraded the tyres and had some minor mods done like two usb connections, better headlights, squeek free steering, NOS rear window etc.

There's a lovely picture of a Lamborghini showing off it's scissor doors, but my attention is grabbed by the blue Citroen C2 in the background. I may have issues. getmecoat

I'm sure that C2 was at one of the previous meeting, but didn't see the bonnet vent. Presumably some sort of forced induction has been added.

This P+R is at my doorstep and a regular sit for a quick coffee, a drug deal, a nap or an EV charge.

As the area is vast the opportunity to launch an early morning chopper meet, Vmax hoon and local Lotus club dawn raid are complementory.

Can I get my coat now?

Big boy Vince woke up with the idea to meetup there. Posted on his Insta and a week later the place was packed with cars parked in between the regular crowd...

Any iteration of a Lotus Seven suits me just fine but this one looks the dogs.

Bizzarrini 5300GT has to be every petrolhead's favorite and this one was made out of GRP.

Justin brought his raunchy Nuova Giulia.

Great range/quality of images as always, I do enjoy your posts.

I’ve always assumed car ownership in Holland is expensive. I’ve searched (in English) but there doesn’t seem to any concessions for classic car ownership, unlike the UK, is that the case.

Rules are tight and engine swapping is not an option

A cheap way to enjoy cars is to choose a youngtimer: plenty of specialists and vehicle low prices

E5 is 2,38 euro though...

Recent Heritage Cars Delft visit: Geert moved to a bigger place to fit his 'for sale' stock.

This 1967 Matra-Sports Jet 6 MB 8 SS has to be my favorite of the current collection: a mid-ship Gordini 1200 will rocket this under 700kg thing through the lanes.

BMW 328 with a revvy Bristol six in.

Yellow cars are the fastest cars.

Surprisingly about ten 916 variations joined the group.
