I have this problem a lot , I live in a double fronted house with a dropped kerb over the width of the house with some flats next door . I had a problem with a swaggering shaven headed moron who I knew and I also knew a few of his mates , he started parking his van more and more over the drive . I asked him not to , told him not to or I would put his window through and move it myself and ended up beating on his door and threatening to kick fk out of him ! That seemed to do the trick , he started bleating to his girlfriend to call the police as my wife stood between us telling me to stop . Don't bother with legalitys or daft tricks , if your capable just meet it head on , it does work !
Do you have a goatee and are you a powerfully built company director by any chance?paulwirral said:

Usually I find a note under the wiper does the job, but in the last 20 years I've had to deal with a couple of repeat offenders, in which case a printed notice applied to the windscreen with spray mount has been highly effective and visible to everyone else.
The thing with using spray mount is that the notice peels off the screen pretty easily, so you can't be accused of damaging the car. However the spray mount itself is more difficult to remove. It usually requires some acetone, and wipers just smear it everywhere.
You'd think that was the case but sadly it's not. From the CPS website: 'Damage is not defined by the Act.....The courts have construed the term liberally and included damage that is not permanent such as smearing mud on the walls of a police cell. The damage need not be visible or tangible if it affects the value or performance of the property.''The thing with using spray mount is that the notice peels off the screen pretty easily, so you can't be accused of damaging the car. So by sticking a note on the screen you are committing criminal damage because you have affected the performance of the car (it can't be driven). Any vaguely intelligent copper would side with you but as my friend found out (see earlier post) a few coppers aren't so smart.

In my experience the "Authorities" couldn't care less!
My mother had the misfortune to live in a side road around the corner from a primary school in the London Borough of Sutton, and the spray-tanned mummies regularly parked across her drive.
When challenged they always had the "well it will only be a few minutes" excuse - we tried calling the police (who to be fair have more important issues to deal with) and said call the local authority - but being a Lib-Dem Greeny dominated waste of space they couldn't care less and said call the police............! (Maybe I should have explained we couldn't get out bicycles out)!
My mate's brother had the answer - a snotty Series I Landie! Just pushed them out of the way - even if that was into the middle of the road!
But WTF makes people so ignorant in the first place.
Same here, in Sutton too. I've even been threated with a knife, because I wanted to park in my own driveway. No one cares, not the police, not the council, it's been the same for years. I've come home before a good few times with other people cars parked in my drive. Last week I was woken up at 1 in the morning by a van sitting outside my drive. My mother had the misfortune to live in a side road around the corner from a primary school in the London Borough of Sutton, and the spray-tanned mummies regularly parked across her drive.

Keep towing the vehicle. Block someone's drive with it you don't like and kill two birds with one stone. This will save you a fortune in sausages.

In the car park I park my car (yes im council) there is also garages. Two of the garages is owned by the same family.
Were do I start with this one tbh....
I have lived in my house for 17 years now and in that time I have once or twice had the gaul drive into the space they think they own in front of thier garage space.
If anyone parks within a yellow box they painted on the ground they come to my house even though its never me.
At one point I bought a van and parked it right upto the yellow line they painted.....Why because although they had plenty of space to get out they would make a hash of it. 30mins-a full hour could be had watching them get a astra out of the 2nd from end garage or a fusion out of the end garage because of the van and getting them in was even funnier tbh.
It was a total war for over 8 years and although it has calmed some, They would still call to my door shouting the odds about some car I know nothing about so I get a new van/caravan/skip/old car and park it right on the line of the yellow box they have painted to give them space.
Sounds bad but it took me 4-5 years of full on her shouting at me in the street because some car that i knew nothing about was parked a inch to close to her garage and she had to goto hospital everytime it happened.( at one point she had to goto hospital over 3 times a day for 8 weeks for i assume was blood pressure or a weight lose program)
I think I won the war because in the last 3 years she has only called on average 1 time a year and said sorry for calling bout do i know who owns the car parked in the car park instead of I am gonna kill you and your family if you dont tell whoever owns the car in the car park to move lol.
Even Google Translate struggles with this one. Were do I start with this one tbh....

remove sump plug, collect oil, and put plug back but don't do it up tightly. This means the van is drive able (so not your problem) and not really traceable to you as the assumption will be a loose sump plug/oil leak.
flat tyres just means its more immovable = a bigger problem for them/you

Hence the question. It is not too much of a dissimilar post from many others here, so would not surprise me terribly that there are people on here who think keying a car is OK.
Trolley jack/a (perhaps not so) polite notice under the wiper are all fine. I can even somewhat understand people moving the car with a jack and then letting air out of a tyre (not bursting it) for someone who has really taken the pee.But when it turns to keying someone's car, no matter if it's a st heap that's more rust than paint, that's not ok. There's some creative and funny revenge ideas on here, but anything that results in permanent damage to a vehicle is too far.
