Dreadful. Nobody else will squeeze their car into that car park since there are 3 bays used rather than 2 if he had parked properly.
TBH i would have done exactly the same…a near deserted car park…a nice or at least expensive car….and the certain realisation that had i parked it correctly some gormless idiot would have parked right next to me …..
How does parking a car in a car parking space make someone gormless?
Your blue RR sir?

What I hate about these clips is that the driver of that Jaguar probably has the means to simply go out an buy another one, or fix the current one, without a thought, whereas the person who owns that Aygo (maybe, I realise I may be jumping to conclusions) will likely be a little poorer, find their car written off, or have a repair bill they cannot afford, or have to drive around in a damaged car.

Also, I don't know why the person filming didn't get out and stop the carnage!

You’d hope the person recording left a note on the Aygo explaining what happened and offered to share the video footage and a few months later the jaaaaaag driver gets a letter from their insurance company. No doubt the jaaaaaag driver will try to claim mitigating circumstances because anyone who drives like that will almost certainly consider themselves both innocent and a victim, almost guaranteed it was someone over 60, new car, unfamiliar with operating it safely….

I saw this one yesterday, parked on the curb and in the middle of two parking bays. I mean how hard is it to park properly. The rest of the street had all the bays taken as well so parking can be an issue in this road.

My local town centre ( Cleveleys ) is full of gormless wkers who park like this, especially at busy times frown

Something that crossed my mind today after seeing a disabled badge in the windscreen of an EV, how do wheelchair users get on with public charging? Thinking of the supermarket car parks where the charging points are usually quite a distance from the store entrance. If EV chargers are fitted in disabled spaces I can see none disabled drivers using them anyway if their usual chargers are all in use...
Think they have been overlooked, up here we have a bunch of shops, ASDA, Lidle, B&M and one other, with a ginornous car park, no charging points at all, not that people expect it.

BUT who ever installs them, the only two charging in my town available to the public are about a mile away from the shops in a offshore company car park.

If they really want us to join the green revolution, they need to pull their socks up and get some decent charging points installed toot sweet.

Our son drove down toward Cornwall at the weekend, pulled into a charging point only to find it was out of order, fortunately he had the sense not to leave it to get too low to find a charging point.

Big problem in some parts of the highlands as well, no internet which I believe you need to activate the charge. Long live the ICE smile
Most of the charging points near me in the existing supermarkets were in the original Disabled or P&C spaces, so they had less distance to run the cables from the building.

It’s still the same Range Rovers, BMWs and transits parking in them though. I don’t think they even noticed if the signs had changed.

Anyone who parks like that automatically loses any rights to complain about other peoples motoring actions.

The same goes for MLMs and other such self important types.

Ok picture the scene…..you carefully park within the two white lines ensuring you are equidistant and leave …only to return later to find in the same near deserted car park that someone has parked right next to you….do you

A Think ..great i’m glad that the spaces are being used up one after another in the most efficient manner…or..

B Think.. FFS what gormless tw@t thought it necessary to park right next to me in this empty car park so running the risk of dinging my pride and joy?..

THATS what i meant by gormless,…

I once dropped into a nearly deserted supermarket last thing at night. It was pissing down but I followed my normal routine of parking some distance away.

Came back out to find a red VW Caddy parked 6" from my drivers door.
He was definitey a tt.

Spot on, I am 75 been driving over 50 years, never had a ticket for anything, best driver I know for reversing parking I know (blowing my own trumpet I know). Never ever parked where I shouldn’t either.

Age has nothing to do with it, by far majority of idiots on our roads are younger chappies, anyway rant over, back to the thread.
