Absolute morons everywhere in my village. Having watched another old lady have to go into the road because or s on pavements I just popped this into the local Facebook group because lots of them seem to be struggling with which bit of the road is for cars:

5/10 wink Needs additional arrow for "use your driveway" to the left and another for "parking bay" on opposite side of road...

Will you be posting the snarky replies you got on the Facebook thread?

A fair score

I would but actually I got none. Seems like I touched a nerve in the village with a lot of people pissed off about it

There was a guy on the odd things your neighbours do thread, who was furious people were doing similar on the same set up of land/turning circle he didn’t own. It was ruining the view he had bought….
The difference was he and other houses actually shared ownership of the block paved area, he just parked there becsause his wife needed both their actual parking spaces because she couldn't park in one.

Different guy then, this guy had bought the house for the view of the playground, neighbour was parking a van blocking the view.

Had 2 attempts, and this is the best they could manage.

This absolute extension always parks like this. Must be very careful in preventing accidental damage to his high value, exclusive, premium chariot.

See those hatched markings they are parked on, they are to give disabled people room to get in and out of cars. Like, for example, my wheelchair user wife, who wanted to get into the passenger side of our car, the car that now has less room to open the door, due to the bad parking.

Really not sure how you can't see the issue, and how you could defend that parking.

Some would have difficulty parking on an airport runway, why is it so difficult?

Looking again, I am wondering if the blue car is in a bay at all.

Only 5/10 for that. There's at least an inch and a half of tyre on the kerb. To do it properly it has to be only the friction between kerb and sidewall holding the wheel up. Extra bonus points if it then slides down to road level when someone slams the boot shut.
