Make the little FB’s walk, how did kids get to school in the 50/60’s in all weather?, not I’m mummy’s ginormous Chelsea tractor.

Much as I agree in principle, the issues now include:

The kid often lives a fair distance from school due to developers being allowed to throw up houses by the thousand without developer or LA building new facilities such as schools.

Both parents now have to work, so usually the parent dropping off has to head onwards to work to pay for the Wimpy box they bought on the new development, and the one picking up has just come from work.

Drivers in the 50/60s were generally looking at the road and not their crotch. I know a lollipop lady who was doing the job for 40 years and she reckons attention to the road has decreased and general "fk you" attitude has increased. She was reporting drivers on a daily basis at the end.

So we need more schools closer to houses, and to get the utter s off the road.

Is it "inherited" bad parking due to a car that has since left? That Focus is at a very jaunty angle hence my wondering. Google maps view of the car park please, so we can decide the magnitude of our tutting.
