Takes up too much space, I'm afraid.

Corker in Aldi today.

Not that it excuses it but I did see the old boy coming back to the car afterwards and he was severely disabled. It was pretty busy and all the disabled spaces were taken.

Should have driven in, no probs exiting the drivers side then.

I would suggest Brad that you retire from this thread and join, or start, the ' I take two spaces when I park' thread.
I was waiting on the additional comment. All he managed was to quote himself from 3 pages ago.

And, it's an indisputable fact that selfish, self centered, self entitled, ignorant, knuckle dragging, self absorbed bell ends like YOU see it as completely acceptable to park where ever YOU feel like it AND fk everybody else, it's not big, it's not clever and it certainly isn't acceptable, if your precious car is so important to you then don't park it in car parks in the first place!!!
Hey, it`s a free internet so fk you too ! lol

And yes my car is precious to me, as it is to most people populating a site called pistonheads. I assume you are happy to have your car damaged on a regular basis.?

And as I`ve said, I`ll park where I like until the carparks are free of fat retards who are unable to open a door and exit a car.

Brad, does it not bother you that you are preventing someone else from parking?

I can`t actually think of a single time when I have.

In all the (minimal) times I visit large carpark, I don`t think any have been full enough for me to have stopped someone else parking.

I just think a lot of people on this thread assume, so i just let them crack on.

Nope. learned my lesson
If it`s mobbed I park elsewhere , avoid, or don`t go.

If I do though, as a rule I use 2 spaces and deal with other folks st with blind indifference.

And what do you think would happen if everyone decided that it was acceptable to take 2 spaces?

I imagine the tts that mark carparks with spaces that allow 10" for you to open your door might think about redesigning them.

But probly not, I suspect that only half the number of folk would be able to park, but at least their cars would be safer, so thats a win.

And what if you were one of the ones who couldnt park as there were far less spaces?

Park elsewhere and walk obviously. No skin off my nose. I have no problem with people using 2 spaces, when they do it deliberately that is. The fannies that straddle 2 spaces cause they are incapable of a simple manoeuvre are a different case altogether, and are part of the reason I do what i do.

There is a difference between Bad parking and Inconsiderate parking smile

A couple of points...

1. my car is not precious to me, in fact I couldn't give a fk about it
2. many people (myself included) are not in fact fat retards, but have mobility issues which necessitates opening the door fully to get out

Bearing in mind those two points, from now on, should I see an self absorbed prick taking up two spaces I will park across the two alongside, and throw my door open with carefree abandon. Your car will cushion the force of my door nicely.

I guess from the way you talk you are young. And not fat. Or disabled. Park further away.

50 and arthritic smile but slim and fit (effort kept up) and I assume you have not read all my posts.

If you feel justified in smashing your door into someone elses car because you feel you`re aggrieved I suggest you give up driving.

And as for the prick comment, fk you dhead smile

As I`ve said, plenty assumptions being made so I`ll leave all you precious bleaters to your little love in.

All you have said is that you would park else where.
But where? All car parks capacity would be halved. Would you be happy to just go home because you cant park anywhere?

I think I have, so you being 50 surprises me. You sound like a petulant teenager.

By 50 I'd expect people to realise that a poxy bit of metal isn't the be all and end all. And to recognise that your 'needs' really don't trump anyone else's. And not to describe people you don't know as 'fat retards'.

I'm sure your mindfulness of others will be rewarded by the karma fairy soon enough. Prick.
