The BAD PARKING thread [vol4]
Discussion
Just witnessed someone in a Smart car (2 seater) drive into an Aldi space next to the disabled bay with the thick white border to give disabled people more space, half her right side was in the white border area ie much less space for a disabled passenger to exit. Also, she stopped by driving in quite quickly and just bumping her wheels off the curb. I'm surprised her car doesn't have massive dents in it with the lack of care she demonstrated.
No photo, as I was driving in a queue out of the car park at the time.

Haven't seen an A reg for years. The first to have a letter suffix. 1963?
This will be a fairly recent so-called 'age related' re-registration. Relatively few authorities began using A suffixes when they were introduced in 1963. Their use was compulsory from 1965.Your right, not many used the system when it first came out, no question about that.

Any chance it's rolled there due to having the handbrake left off?
Clearly from the marks on the paint it was driven forwards into the 'space' so there must have been empty tarmac they drove over to get to where it's ended up.
No not unless it rolled up hill! That 'space' is on a slight incline, /\ they just had a bad day by the looks of things! Speaking of which, this is outside my apartment today...Clearly from the marks on the paint it was driven forwards into the 'space' so there must have been empty tarmac they drove over to get to where it's ended up.

The car pictured was originally registered 399 COW on 16 November 1962.

Don't worry. Its not you that is a few sandwiches short. .
He is that guy who was very well known for putting up consecutive posts on the knob thread about other people pulling out/cutting him up at junctions and roundabout's.. and then on another thread lectured people contributors about their unnecessary over use of indicators.
Ergo... You are supposed to guess what he is thinking.
Apologies, it has taken me a while to see this.... then some more time to figure out what you were saying. He is that guy who was very well known for putting up consecutive posts on the knob thread about other people pulling out/cutting him up at junctions and roundabout's.. and then on another thread lectured people contributors about their unnecessary over use of indicators.

I'm well known am I? Fame at last, this is such a surprise. But you say I "was famous", I'm not any more? Fame is such a cruel mistress.
Is there a rule against consecutive posts? I find that easier (clearer) when quoting one person in a thread before making my own reply but if I'm doing it wrong please do let me know.
"overuse of indicators", I don't remember posting anything about that, can you post a link?
Why are you supposed to guess what I'm thinking? Not sure what you mean by that.
PS no apostrophe needed in roundabouts. You didn't put one in junctions which is something that always confuses me: people who put apostrophes in some plurals but not others, what is their (self made) rule on this. Fascinating stuff.

Personally I could not help but park behind this and block it in, its like when people park over 2 spaces so nobody can park next to them. Im sorry but this is like a magnet to me and you position it still just in your bay and they can't open the drivers door, stand back and watch the fun unfold From Facebook:

"I watched him park then advised him he was in a motorcycle bay. He said "I know". When I explained how frustrating it is for motorcyclists he just shrugged his shoulders. He was also challenged by another lady and again ignored our protests. He started to walk off when I asked him if he just intended leaving it there. He replied that he was.
Can you guess what I then called him?
If you know him let him know if I see him again on my bike I so have another conversation with him and will not be so polite." - Sid Gee
