Good find. Whatever the legal stand is, you will always have these me me me rules don't apply to me buggers who insist in dropping their little angels off outside the gates.
I like the idea mooted elsewhere on PH of forbidding parking or waiting (including drop-offs and pick-ups) within say 500m of the school gates - unless the child (not the parent) is disabled, of course.
Good idea, you would need sinage though, seems "SOME" cant figure out what 20 metres is biggrin

That's sideways across a footpath, and nose first in to the main gates to Woking park. Didn't like me pointing out 1) He parked like a and 2) M badges and piss poor rep wheels on a 330D made him an even bigger .

The clio could have had a moped in front of it. But the car at the back is definitely badly parked ha ha

The Audi is me risking a ticket. And I have to admit I hadn't thought of there having been a bike parked in front of the Clio. I'm too quick to criticise.

Most I see have parked like that, tts, just takes a second or two to check if your at the end of the bay. One bay near me has room for four cars, usually end ones are 2 or 3 ft from the end of the bay resulting in being reduced to space for three cars.

As has been posted before, in these situations it is impossible to assess the comings and goings of vehicles before your arrival. On the other hand it could be knob parking.

You must be a powerfully built company director Johno. Not many would have done that.

'Fraid not, but I did have a can of Red Bull ready. Just in case.

Far too important to park properly in a busy car park.

Tow it and crush it. It's the only way they'll learn.

Not excusing the parking but that's a very weird road, why does the block paved area drop to road level miles away from the give way markings and the double yellow lines not relate to a pavement ? Almost looks Photoshopped.

As you're the one not in the space by choice, would that not make you the bad parker? After all for all you know there may well have been a motorbike in that space in front of the clio!
