It's this kind of obnoxious, ignorant, arrogant, fktard, selfish attitude which makes me want to confront the cretinous s doing it and demand to know why they think it's remotely acceptable to behave like that!!!! rage

It’s the same attitude that prevails in other restricted parking areas - zig-zags at crossings, outside schools/colleges etc. Unfortunately, it’s not a high priority for stretched police resources. I’ve quite often seen plod drive past cars parked in such areas and ignore the obvious danger/illegality. It’ll only get worse as budgets are hammered further I suspect. And the government doesn’t give a st.

Two 'tards for the price of one here. To explain: this is a car-park consisting of 4 rows of about 12 spaces each. Rows 1 and 2 are accessed directly from the entry road in the background. Rows 3 and 4 can only be accessed via the entrance where the silver BMW and white KIA are parked. No-one can now access rows 3 and 4 and any other vehicles parked in that zone can no longer get out. Genius.

Saw similar in a multi story car park in Aberdeen, essentially blocked off most of one level.

There’s me in the 330e parked, charging.

Next to me is the i3 parked across 2 spaces. Not charging.

When I see parking like that, the urge to leave a trail of muddy footprints over the car is always strong.

I could add another 150 pages with stuff from Germany. They are good safe FAST drivers but by god. Not a one of them can park for toffee. Always over the lines. In at an angle, taking up 2 or 3 spots or so close no one can open a door. TERRIBLE parking here.

There was actually room for them to park in the space, but instead chose to abandon it like this

It's bad parking as it's blocking the drop curb and the bend but there doesn't seem to be any visible restrictions so can understand why you might think it's ok to leave it there.
