The additional straight line painted through one side of the logo circle is almost as irritating as the poorly parked car.

Perhaps they were trying to be smart and fit the tyres in the narrow 'slots' in the paint.. they still made a mess of it though laugh

No biggie I suppose, but why not just park in one of the EMPTY spaces and be done with it. Was loads of them.

I know it's not in a designated spot, but I really don't see a big problem with this one. He's not blocking a pavement, he's not gonna get any door dings and he's not blocking the road. He's just worked out there's a space where the planners didn't.

I agree, doesn't look like he'd be blocking the view at a junction either, as long as it's not blocking the view I'd have used it as a space, as you say no door dings and he's not causing any inconvenience, a win-win to me.

You could not walk either side of this builder's van, too close to my hedge and the Fiesta. He was working in adjacent road and I was getting complaints as people assumed he was at my house.

What a knob, looks like he washed out his paint pot over the pavement as well!

This Ford Ka parked outside my neighbours house from about 6pm Friday night to 8am Saturday morning. I assumed they were staying with my neighbours, but there was a note on the Ka saying, "Thanks for blocking my drive". It was parked almost entirely over the drive with my neighbours car parked on their drive, bonkers. Hard to see but the front wheel was about level with where the dropped kerb starts.

They aren't inconveniencing any drivers or pedestrians with where they have parked so i don't see anything wrong with it.

I would have bounced it with a couple of mates 90 degrees across the road...

I'm not going to agree with this one. Given the nature of the job they do they need to park AS CLOSE to the drop off/pick up point as possible.

would you want to do that job?
Thats a wide road, they only need to leave enough space for 1 vehicle to pass through. Should be less on pavement and more on the road = Bad parking smile A wheelchair/double buggy should always be able to pass comfortably.

As I said no biggie, but its not a designated parking space. The car park was and usually is nearly empty. Clue - nearer the shop door!

You're telling a van driver how to drive/park? biggrin

Van drivers are often the most affable people socially. but are complete arrisholes when behind the wheel.

A lot of bad parking occurs outside Poundland. I am wondering if there is, by any chance, a connection?

Drivers / parkers like that will always be slotting into a space at their own convenience, It may not be blocking anyone, but is a prime example of self-entitlement.
I WILL park there and sod everyone else.

"I'm only going to be 2 minutes" which was just long enough for me to have to pull out on the wrong side of the road and have an argument with a BMW driver.
When I took the picture he assumed I was going to report him and get him "fired for Christmas"

No photos unfortunately, but today I did witness someone without a blue badge park in a disabled bay to use the cashpoint, and a badge holder then proceed to block him in. Fair enough you might say, serves him right. However, as soon as he got out the car it was obvious that this person was not physically impaired, and when challenged on this replied "I'm shopping for my wife, I'm allowed to use her badge". So the guy was angry that he wasn't allowed to fraudulently use the space, and the blockade was rendered somewhat ineffective by the fact the space in front was free, so the other car just drove off. Did mean he left his car blocking the road though, so top marks all round.
