If the parked-at-an-angle BMW had parked tight to the reverse parked one, in the nominally correct place, the drivers could both have got in and out of their cars. He made a poor situation worse.

And, yes, I had to walk about a mile. If I'd had a smaller car I would have been tempted to park tight up to the driver's door. But I probably wouldn't. One has to try to lead by example.

I had this same scenario in a multi story car park in Cambridge a couple of years ago. The car park was smart enough to know how many it could let in before being full, but I struggled to find the free space. Only to find on the top storey, some moron had straddled two spaces in their 4x4, the greedy tt.

Until they moved off, there was always going to be some unfortunate person driving around looking for a space, until they find the next person to leave and nab their space. Another car is let in when no space is available, and the cycle repeats.

And I bet the person in the Mini thought "great, an oversized end space, I will park as far over as I can to give me loads of room to open my door should someone park next to me"

This could be in other threads, such as chavvy plates. Not sure about the M badge.

That's a perfect opportunity to squeeze into that space and completely block the selfish parker from getting into the driver's door!

As there is no room on the road, Ill just abandon it here.

Which car are we looking at? I assume the blue mini, but if so that's just standard practice for crowded housing estates these days, hardly noteworthy.

Yet it's still bad parking as it's obstructing the footpath.

But it's not a crowded estate, she pulled up about a minute before I took the pic, stayed about an hour or so, still nothing else on the road, so no excuse.

Doing that through no other choice into the last available space in the whole car park, is the only time that another motorist has ever deliberately damaged my car.

Because - moron.

Alternatively, from the look of it, she could have easily parked a couple of feet further onto the drive.

Hey darlings, I'll just park across the exit to a roundabout. Won't take long to take you into school. Rats, a copper just noticed and he's giving me a ticket.

Yes it really did happen, and yes it happened in Birmingham. Another thread winner?
