The BAD PARKING thread [vol4]
Discussion
The only pavement bay which is visible on the photo is around the green Rover 400. (Which itself should be on the 'common cars I've not seen for ages' thread). I can't see any either where the Kuga is parked or for any of the cars on the other side of the road. That could just be bad luck from where the cars are parked covering up where the camera can see though.
If pavement parking is allowed and the spaces are marked, I presume the two cars on the road know the owner of the white car, in the same way that people often block their own driveway when there's not much space.
I reckon the white car could get out though with a bit of off-roading along the grass round the other cars.
If the owner of the car thinks they can't reverse out of their drive though because of cars on the other side of the road, presumably they've never parked in a 60s multi storey car park, as most have significantly less room than that....

How could she not get out of that drive????
Yep. Exactly - easy as anything to get out of there! The comments were 50/50 between people sympathising with her moaning about the state of parking and others telling her to grow up and reverse onto her drive next time!
The white car that's blocked in has a problem, not the car on the driveway!
The other cars, just tough st, why park on the pavement when there appear to be no parking restrictions.

Looks like a mine-strike Hummer that's been rebuilt without access to the proper parts. Home-made bodywork at the front...?TomWCL7 said:

FU club.
It has regular meets outside my daughter's school.
I would love a traffic warden to visit at school run time. I'm pretty surprised they don't as they could make the council a lot of money. People regularly park on junctions, double yellow lines, across driveways etc. One prat in a taxi just parked in the carriageway the other day. He couldn't get next to the kerb because another car was already there, so he dumped the taxi in the road.
Sadly your local Enforcement Officers are probably trying to deal with every other school in their area who are experiencing the exact same issue at the same time.It has regular meets outside my daughter's school.

As to making the council a lot of money, they more than likely wouldn't be able to issue more than 1 or 2 PCN's before the hoard of angry mummies and daddies descend and turn the entire thing into a total stshow.
Apart from the occasional thank you from walking parents, all that trying to enforce a school at pickup and drop-off times gets you is verbal and sometimes physical abuse - all because so many mummies and daddies of the entitled generation can't seem to work out basic priorities. It's really fking sad and take it from someone who's been doing that thankless job for 5 years it's only getting worse.
