The BAD PARKING thread [vol4]

Parked like this, no badge, then strolled in wearing one of those lame coats with goggles builtin to the hood.
Then tried to pull out of the car park with terrible positioning at the junction. Definitely a case of a hidden, presumably undiagnosed, mental disability.
I have never seen nor heard of the type of coat you describe; I am now intrigued. Then tried to pull out of the car park with terrible positioning at the junction. Definitely a case of a hidden, presumably undiagnosed, mental disability.

Something like this at a guess.Going back to the post that piqued my curiosity, as someone who has relatively recently had to get a blue badge, the abuse of disabled parking spaces drives me spare. The other day I was parking up in one, and a chap rolled into the next door disabled space in a Lexus 4x4, parked diagonally across it, hopped out with alacrity, lifted his small child out of the back seat, and the 2 of them wandered into CurrysPCWorld. No sign of any disability, and certainly no blue badge in their car.

Blimey. That's a, ummm, 'strong look'.

There's a regular at a Morrisons near me. He'll drop his wife off in the drop off bay, she'll hobble in, then he'll go and park in the nearest disabled bay to the door (with a disabled badge at least) and sit in the car until she comes out. Then he'll drive round to the drop off bay to pick her up again. I'm not too sure on the rules and regs of using a disabled badge (I'm not sure if the badge belongs to him or his wife), but surely just sitting in the car taking up a space when there's hundreds of other standard spaces that he could be using isn't really the proper thing to do?

I came across someone that did this once but they were actually parked in the gap between the pavement and the bollard.I decided to go on the wrong side of the bollard and just as I was going through the wrong side of the bollards a Police van comes up behind me, follows me through and pulls me over. His opening line was 'what makes you think going the wrong way round bollards is a good idea?'.
I was so angry but I told him he could have my keys and I'd wait while he went back to look at the bollards which would answer his question. He came back handed me my keys, apologised and said he'd go find the owner.
