Some people just want to watch the world burn.

Get this at work with our visitor spaces all the time. Its reverse park only & the sign on the wall that the drivers see when they park says so .... do they turn around .... no.
Usually they back in because it's the best way. So they did the reverse as per the instructions.

No?

According to the arrows on the floor they wouldn't have seen the sign hanging from the ceiling until they passed it - and had already parked.
But then, rules were made to be broken. "What are you gonna do, charge me with smoking parking?"

RRS, check.
Private plate, check.
Double yellow lines, check.
In-between the entrance and exit to a car park....

It's probably somewhere where they think they can appeal a ticket, and probably many parking wardens wouldn't bother issuing one.

In the mind of the driver, it's not on double yellows, as there aren't any drawn along the edge of the road where the front of the road is with the bushes on. They've not stopped on either set of double yellows at the side of the road. Also, they are only stopped over the word marked "keep" not "clear", so obviously that's ok too.

Only a Range Rover Sport driver with a cheapy personalised plate would think like that though ...
This is Clifton in Bristol, and there's some dispute over who owns the 'keep clear' section, Bristol City Council or the shopping centre. There's cars parked in that spot a lot, and on the pavement to the left. They all belong to law firm employees, who's office that is on the left.

Three members of the "We can't reverse park club"
That will be my missus and most of your missuses. Steadfastly refuses to listen to common sense (if you reverse in when it's quiet and you don't need to access the boot) and reason and does a 99 point turn trying to get out.
Mrs Cmvtec calls me a smartarse when i reverse park. Its easier!
Reverse parking is easier, im not sure that it makes much difference to safety though.

Not the crime of the century. The left hand one turned up first, then the other. Just curious they are both the same type/model.

This complete fkwit parks at the bottom of the lane most days. 4 ft away from the side of the road and literally on the junction. Really hope it gets clipped by a tractor or truck turning into the road.

At my local post office - there have already been a couple of incidents on this crossing due to its location on the bend, and this moron makes the risk even greater...

In the spirit of PH, there must have been some good finance deals around at the time.

Someone having an accident because of a badly parked car wouldnt be nice. It would be nice if the car was parked properly.

Badly parked for most days? Can't see much else making the driver consider where they abandon their car.

Hoping that someone has an accident is a rather odd thing though dont you think?

I think a good scrape from a tractor trailer would be pretty good incentive to park somewhere else. Can't imagine the local farmers would be too concerned about another scratch on their already very battered trailer.

Nope I’d agree. Sometimes it’s the only way for knuckle draggers

Hoping that an innocent person crashes into a "parked" car is very odd IMO

dunno how close this looks but I fitted the van though with about a inch of clearance.

Were there all night, luckily none of the elderly/young family neighbours down my road needed an ambulance etc

But hey, at least the saved someone's fat ass several yards walk ay.
