The car park was not busy yet the Vauxhall van driver had to park on the hatched area right outside the store and adjacent to the pedestrian crossing.

Arrogant wker in Ambleside, Lake District. Watched him walk away from it as I turned into the car park WITH NO SPACES REMAINING. Smug look on his face:

I'm confused.

Was the land cruiser already there? Or are you the Toyota (and if so, why did you leave such a gap seeing as x2 has plenty of space to climb in from the other side!)

It annoys me that supermarkets don't police their car parks at all. At my my local Sainsbury's, this is all too common, as is people parking in the pickup bay to do their weekly shop, or abusing the disabled bays. I can only assume they are more concerned about not annoying a selfish minority, rather than enforcing a regime designed for the good of all. And yes, I can hear the comedians murmuring "The greater good".

You normally find busy young mummies are far too important to bother about lines in parking spaces.

At our gym they have now given the car park over to a parking control company who are very strict. Quite a few members have been clamped and fined not quite sure how that pans out with their gym membership it might be slightly dodgy ground. But it seems the gym of wash their hands of it and said it’s nothing to do with us the car park is an ours anymore
Wasnt clamping on private land outlawed a while back?
Maybe punctuation was banned too. Perhaps proof read before your post Iestat - that last sentence is incomprehensible.
[ahem] I'm not sure Mr lestat is the only one who needs to proofread.
oh bugger... hehe

How the fk does someone park like that and think "that's alright"
Because they will only be five minutes and you can knock on the door if you want the car moving rolleyes
I hate people like that.
The only time I did that on a regular basis was in LLOYDS TSB car park, in the centre of Abdedeen at lunch times,, I used to put a note on my dash saying "I am a genuine Llouds customer back in 5 mins", and park usually blocking the entrance as that was the only place left, rarely saw any customers in the bank.

At times I would come back and see a couple of punters sitting in their cars, no one ever challenged me.
There’s no point leaving a note saying you’ll be back in 5 minutes unless you say what time you wrote the note; there’s no context and it’s not helpful.

Also, why should you be delayed by 5 minutes because of someone's inconsiderate parking ? Visitors to our neighbours have blocked us in and when asked to move, said they will only be 5 minutes rolleyes

Thought all this was dead and buried, it was to do with unauthorised shoppers parking in a private car park depriving those entitled to park there from doing so. Anyway.....................................

We once had some visitors to our neighbours park across our drive, when challenged they said "well you're not going out are you?"

A bit different. Vipers wouldn't have been able to make his visit to the bank by people abusing the bank's customer-only car park. His action is more like you keeping your neighbours waiting 5 minutes in response to their bad parking.

But can we move on and post some more pictures?

Is it a weird camera angle messing with the perspective, it looks tiny!

Had this a couple of years ago with the people opposite! Started out politely knocking on their door, ended up banging loudly on their window as I heard them saying " Ignore it, he'll go away" Dad comes to the door and agrees to move his car, follows me across the road where I politely told him it's incredibly ignorant to block a persons drive, to hear " I don't need a lecture thanks"
" Well don't f*ckin do it then!"
Never had a problem since!!

Saw this today at a gym. The space on the left is the end of the row, and both wheels were touching the kerb in front - are they just terrible at parking?
TBF looking at that abomination I'd be surprised if whoever chose it even saw the lines.

I must apologise to the punctuation and spelling police. SORRY

Also I might have used artistic licence with the clamping. I saw the signs and warnings. Didn’t actually read it and it probably doesn’t say clamping. Just a fine then. Sorry sorry and sorry again.

May I blame autocorrect and speaking instead of typing the actual text
Sadly, everyone now loses out and has to suffer, because of a few tts who just didn’t think.

I usually find my arms are tired AFTER a gym session, not before. Or so bad that I fail to turn the wheel properly in a car with power steering.

Leeds Park and Ride, Elland road. Whoever started the Row with the black Mini in it, decided not to leave a gap. Funnily enough, when I came back in the afternoon, the two rows behind must have thought the same thing....

The blue car to the left of the red Audi is behind the black mini. What beggars belief, is that they all locked their doors, and walked forwards, past the cars they have just blocked in to get to the exit and bus.
It’s possible that they all work together, so leave at about the same time.

I'm not sure they have the right to actually 'do' anything!

Which is a tragedy.

Especially when so many of the miincers on here get their own knickers in a twist at the thought that anyone might actually sayi anything to one of them.
