Touran mum is parked on the pavement, 45 degrees to the road inside the zigzags for the ped crossing in order to drop kid at the party in the community centre where I have just dropped my sprog.

And that must've made you wet your knickers and race home to post the photo on PH as soon as you could.

But you would do exactly the same if you owned such a valuable car. It's parked right at the back of the supermarket car park, there are lots of empty spaces around, so it's not an inconvenience to anyone.

I would draw the honourable gentlemen's attention to the thread title.
We have no idea from the photo what the rest of the CP is like. It could be chock a block.
Errrrr.....that's it.

Most considerate people wouldn't.

I, like most I presume, would reverse park it at the back of the car in a corner space as far over towards the kerb as possible.

If you're that precious over a car either dont buy it or take your other car down the shops.

I’m no expert on car parks, but that doesn’t look like a huge supermarket car park. It looks far more like a small m&s or Waitrose off a high street or in a built up area. I would wager there isn’t that much more to the car park than is shown in that photo.

Anyway, why come on a parking thread to criticise a parking post.
