Would you have preferred that they park sideways over 4 spaces?
I think we would all prefer them to find somewhere more appropriate to park their enormous vehicle
who is / are 'we' ?
Just a figure of speech. A catch all phrase bringing, hopefully, all interested parties together.

At least they tried, I guess.

Didn't get a photo of their attempt the next day - just as far away, but pushed right up to another car leaving it no hope of getting out.

Nick and Mart??

If it was a busy day, with lots of families on the footpath and cars trying to pass, I would probably agree as well.

But, much would depend on whether there was anywhere suitable to park, within a 10min walk.
Yeah I think ones like these kind of depend on other factors, like how busy it is and how long they are there for. They also look like they've put some effort in to try and keep it out the way, rather than just dump it.

If I recognise that correctly as Cleveleys, there isnt much space to park that behemoth in anywhere nearby IIRC

Within an easy 10 min walk - and overhanging one of the middle spaces wouldn't inconvenience anyone, such as those using the part of National Cycle Route 62 which runs along the Lancashire Coastal Way ( aka that pavement wink ) - but this one is pay & display so I guess it's whether or not you want to avoid paying to park your expensive motorhome...

Funnily, mum and dad once came across a motorhome parked across 4 disabled bays at a service station, on route to Wales. My Mum (not a woman to be messed with) approached him, to ask why he thought it OK. He responded with the normal 'what's it got to do with you?!' vitriol, to which she calmly but sternly pointed out that because he couldn't be arsed to find a suitable spot they couldn't use one of the bays for my disabled sister, who had just had a new pacemaker fitted. Seconds later Becky rocked up, out of breath. He was apparently somewhat unable to respond.

At least they reversed into the space. I have known a LWB Merc Sprinter drive into one of the earlier spaces and b@lls it up for everyone trying to get in & out.

The car park Mart G has highlighted is about 0.5 miles away with plenty of spaces.

My neighbour is like that, but she usually manages about about an inch or less balancing on the kerb.

I tried to see a reason that might have forced him to park that way, other vehicles there etc., but I couldn’t see one, then my younger son, who served in N.I. in the eighties, looked over my shoulder, and said, “I think that’s a Northern Ireland plate dad, maybe Londonderry, no wonder we make jokes about them.”
I did my best to put him straight, saying, “You wouldn’t make jokes about black people, so it’s not cool to generalise about the Irish”, but it’s such an outrageous bit of parking really, I’d like to have seen it clamped, and not released until he’d paid the max revenue that the CP lost by him taking up two spots.

Screaming out for 2 sheds to be parked either side, as close as possible to prevent the driver from getting in other than climbing in the boot.

Interesting, how does OUI 690 tell you its a Northern Ireland plate? just interested.
