Ah yes, you can see where the line goes under the front wheel. So the car is about 1 foot over the line.
Yes, you're right. On reflection it's good parking. I take it all back. Cant see a line at the rear of the car, so a rather large parking space, not that the driver seems to appreciate it.
If the car in front, which depending on the time of day "could" be illegal parked as the white lines do not seem to cover his space, if he parks 1 ft back, as some do, then the space in front of the one parked is gone.
Is it too difficult to check you parking when you park, I do, mainly coz I dont want to end on here , but seriously I see so many cars parked up to 2 metres from the end of the bays, same the other end, so where you can fit say 4 cars in, its down to 3 now, just ignorant I think.

True !Amazing just how much perception and expectations of longevity have changed in the last half century..."heavy traffic" ...and cars expected to be worn out at 20,000 miles
Just came out of the post office to this hilarious two for.
The Anglian Water van is parked on double yellows facing the wrong way with a colleagues van in front. But it’s ok they’re working on the verge and you wouldn’t want your tools out of arms reach would you.
The europcar van is a Royal Mail van and pulled up while I was inside the post office to pick up or drop off some parcels. It’s often mayhem at this junction with customers and Royal Mail deliveries / postmen “just popping in to the PO or the Co-op opposite.
Doesn’t matter that the toad that both vans are facing has legal parking on both sides which means only one lane through the gap. That, coupled with the junction, which is disastrously being turned into a mini roundabout soon, means chaos.
Pic three shows the back of a blue car just turning into a car park. And to the right of the picture, next to the Co-op is another car park
