Job lot today , all outside the same school I have posted about before

Must be ok , I have my hazards on

With a bit of road rage thrown in
The guy in the Beemer is sounding off , but the person he is having a go at has a stream of cars etc behund her , situation not helped by the car parked by the bus stop

And just behind , with the Beemer wheel spinning backwards

Some idiot parked up on the path not far from here, near the entrance to a housing estate. So not only did it cause traffic chaos in the morning (there’s a school here too) but he’d parked on the path right next to a BT exchange cabinet so you couldn’t even squeeze down the path. Kids walking to school would have to go round the car into the road and the car was blocking traffic and slowing it because of pedestrians in road too.

It was there a few days and ‘someone’ (dunno who haha) printed out a poster they must have found on the Internet said “WTF PARKING DISASTER” in large letters and some small print about crap parking. Then they must have stuck it to his car for all to see one night when they were probably coming back from shooting or something.

Funnily enough it was moved the next day.

The thing that really annoys me is people parking near junctions. I’d love to do a falling down moment one day with a Tank and just plough into them.

It’s just so annoying driving out the roads from my house and trying to turn left out a junction only for a car to be parked on the left so you have to go onto the wrong side of the road to see and then get an inconsiderate driver coming the other way who glares at you for trying to get out.

I feel your pain on this one. Approaching the end of my road to turn left I often end up approaching on the wrong side of the road.
Cars park opposite the junction, so I can be turning left almost from the right hand side of the road, looking at cars approaching me from my left, on the right side of the road.

Leaf it long enough, they may remember.

Rule 243 of the Highway Code states you must not park opposite or within 10 metres (32 feet) of a junction, except in an authorised parking space.

When the Highway Code says "must" it is mandatory in law. Report it every time you see it.
Not in my copy.

Bloke's an idiot, trolls other threads with his nonsense as well. I actually had a quick peek at the HC and you're right, 243 says nothing of the sort and says 'do not' rather than 'must not.' Where the HC states 'must not' the laws that apply are footnoted for reference, not so for 243 and parking near junctions. Doesn't make it right of course.

Adenoids off.

I have been known to park my own car alongside vehicles parked like that, albeit 'for just five minutes'. smile

It is, however there is a butty van up the road, and a McDonalds down it, so you get people walking up and down the road while the wagons are driving past.

Park at the end you tard. Same at other and a space gone, very limited in that street as it is. Before anyone asks, no there wasn’t a car in front when they parked.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "The Bolton West Neighbourhood Team attended reports of an abandoned vehicle at Horwich Golf Club this morning.

"This vehicle was found with no registration plates, stuck in a ditch.

"It has now been seized on the suspicion that it’s stolen."
