This was pretty special, I thought. Not another car anywhere near it...

Double yellows at the exit from a mini roundabout and nowhere near the kerb... but fish and chips is life. Loads of space in front of the car ahead of it.

Drove down a pedestrian street that doesn't allow vehicles before 7pm and "queued" outside the local frozen meat defrosting, Asda chicken reseller "butcher" in his pickup.

What is wrong with that exactly? He's chosen an empty area of the car park. Where would you have him park "correctly"?

I don’t think there is any ideal way of parking that in those facilities. But I would have though the top left of the photo taking up 5 bays would have been better. At the very least not blocking the actual ‘road’ part.

The quote as you've quoted it isn't as that's not his pickup, it's a lazy customer, but staff from this particular butchers were allegedly spotted at the peak of the food shortages in the local Asda with several trolleys full of chicken. Apparently did the same at Aldi too.

He then went on the defensive and suggested his well meaning staff did it to fulfil an order for a nursing home despite them supposedly still selling chicken in their shops up until that day and there being plenty of chicken available at other large local butchers and wholesalers.

Supposedly nobody from the nursing home ever confirmed this and his promises to show the evidence never materialised.

His videos defending this on Facebook all seem to have been removed in an attempt to pretend it never happened.

The butcher in question also happens to be a local councillor.

Facebook was full of outrage at the time.

Blocking the step free exit from the train station parked in a disabled bay, able people can get through the tiny gap but saw a female with pram having trouble luckily someone helped her up the steps.

Not sure why you would park like that with such disregard in a sign written vehicle.

Had a look at the registration out in interest and someone had already complained about them driving like a lunatic running them off the road

I'm guessing that them and the Mitsubishi are one crew. Was the Mitsubishi from the "daawg squad ltd"?

There are several free car parks in very close proximity. By close, I mean about a minute walk from all of these areas but this is now a common occurrence since lockdown, I don't know if the traffic wardens have just not been round, but the double yellow parking actually extends on to crossing zigzags too and is starting to obstruct buses now too

They have been round near me, and someone got ticketed by parking on a kerb over double yellow lines, and apparently seems to think he's in the right because of the 'frightening times' we're living in.

There’s an ice cream van that comes around our way in winter time, in the dark. It can only be a weed wagon.
A friend of mine went to uni in Liverpool and had never heard of ice cream vans delivering drugs. Once in the middle of winter one turned up on his street. He decided to treat himself so went to get one. He was delighted that everyone else in the queue stood aside so they could sell him what was probably quite an old ice lolly and they could then get on with their business.

Wikipedia said:
The Ice Cream Wars was a turf war in the East End of Glasgow, in Scotland, in the 1980s between rival criminal organisations selling drugs and stolen goods from ice cream vans. Van operators were involved in frequent violence and intimidation tactics. A driver and his family were killed in an arson attack that resulted in a 20-year court battle. The conflicts generated widespread public outrage, and earned the Strathclyde Police the nickname of "serious chimes squad" (a pun on Serious Crime Squad) for its perceived failure to address them

It looks like private land and being a fire and security van they may have parked there to keep that area free for a cherrypicker to arrive to work on a cctv a camera or something. I’ve done it myself with the landowners permission of course when working on cctv systems.
