More from my high street earlier. Every one is parked badly, the 6 convertible is parked in a disabled space

More from the same location - the silver golf is on white zig zags and causing an obstruction when buses try to come past

And this is just here regularly. Double yellows and the footpath too

I know I seem like a crazy, but ever since lockdown there haven't been any traffic wardens and it's getting worse...

Not being pedantic but a 99 already has a Flake in it...so technically a 99 WITH a Flake actually has 2 flakes..more commonly known as Bunny Ears....

No i don’t get out much...and when i do it’s always 2 sodding meters away...
When I were a lad the ice cream van that dealt sold at my school at dinner time had 99's which had two flakes and cost 99p. You could get a 69 with one flake and that cost 69p.

Different times...
I have to say i have NEVER been offered a 69...with or without a Flake....
69 with a Flake? - sounds like a description for a specific act on Pornhub or MFC hehe
I believe there are certain ...ahem...”sites” where asking for a Mr Whippy could get you in all sorts of problems...

I always try and park with empty spaces either side and today was no exception. It's not like the carpark was full (note empty spaces in background)
I still can't figure out how they got into the space in the first place.

I can only assume that the Insignia driver scrambled to the passenger side to exit. I don't understand some people! rolleyes
I can’t believe this didn’t get more discussion.

Wtf?! I take it you had to drive forward? I just can’t comprehend what happened. 99 Percent, not the ice cream, of parking on here is selfish idiots. But why would someone park like that.

Yes, this car was actually parked. Double yellow lines, yards from the kerb and on a junction. There’s plenty on room to get round it but there’s loads on space to park past the pub.

Are you sure this wasn’t a mate on a ‘wind up’? Why would anyone think it is acceptable to walk away having parked that close to a stranger’s car?

Had it happen to me in a multistorey in Brighton once.

This is the time to drive a 17 year old Merc estate worth less than the clothes you're wearing.

I know exactly where that is, I live a bit further down, and can only assume that they've gone for a walk up the hill. There's certainly no other explanation for it, at least a logical one. I take it that the Shoulder car park was closed off? As you say, there's plenty of room the other side, they even made a car park a bit further down but probably too far to walk for the owner.

The shoulder’s car park is closed off. I thought they were waiting to pull out when I approached but the car was empty and the wing mirrors folded in. There were a few people up the hill so as you say they must have parked there to go for a walk.

Yes, luckily the space in front was empty so I could drive out - the bloody moron!

No I didn't recognise the car.
TBH I stuck around for 5 minutes just to see if the owner would return and I could watch them clamber back into the car, but they did not and I couldn't be arsed to stick around and wait.

Was in a multistorey in Leeds years ago and a bloke parked like this the proceeded to repeatedly bang his door on the car trying to get out, I was waiting for the lift and so watching.
The guy shouts "what are you looking at?"
My response "just wondering if you were gonna leave a note since you've damaged that car"
He said "why don't you f off before I damage you"
I replied "hardly likely lard a7se, you can't even get out of the car"

I was about 19 at the time and of course wouldn't have been so confrontational these days but the attitude was shocking, upon realising he was too close he could reparked but instead was happy to damage someone else's car

Driver parks it in the disabled bay so it doesn’t get scratched or dinged and then he parks it on its roof...

Still, it won’t ever fail an MOT!

is it not possible that wheel in the picture is from a wheelchair that could have been in the boot? Could also be from a bicycle rider that he just ran over but without more details I guess we will never know.

The comments on that website seem to indicate he is known and it was a bicycle in the boot.
Accident is said to have happened to the M4 on the M3 so unlikely to be a cyclist (not impossible of course)

This made me laugh, lack of common sense from the Yaris and focus. My local Tesco has blocked off a traffic lane to allow for queues, so the cars park in the first spot like the insignia and the one in front is left empty. The Yaris parked in the second spot, which has no escape and the focus has parked right behind. Luckily it’s quiet so the Yaris could still get out, it would have been stuck if more cars had parked.
