Why do people do this?? Nearly empty car park but has to park right next to another car and very close as well.
When I park in my local Sainsburys, I try and park away from people so as not to get 'dinked'. The number of times I get back to the car and some prat is right next to me, despite there being bays closer to the entrance, is unreal!
I think some of it is people having absolutely lousy spatial awareness and need the reference point of a car alongside them to have any chance of parking anywhere near in the space.When I park in my local Sainsburys, I try and park away from people so as not to get 'dinked'. From earlier this afternoon.
The woman driving reversed it there, got out, looked around the car, seemed to think it was fine parking on a corner, junction and a reasonable distance from the kerb and walked off.
It's still there now. Should be interesting if it's still there when the street lights go off at 11PM, and the road goes completely black, especially as some people, taxis, etc, tend to cut that corner.
Edit - they've just left. Their crap parking is just about as bad as the fact they've driven off without their headlights on

Why do they block paths as well, almost as bad as the drivers in Porthlethen who park on DYL's blocking a dropped kerb for wheelchair access, save having to walk too far to the shop/post office, tards.
Cos Portlethen is well gangsta Aberdeen is a fun place, where parking lines are there as jokes and red lights mean 'go through, it's really just a different shade of green',

It's called Social Proof, well known phenomenon.When I park in my local Sainsburys, I try and park away from people so as not to get 'dinked'. The number of times I get back to the car and some prat is right next to me, despite there being bays closer to the entrance, is unreal!

Its that simple. Even white lines, where they could adjust their electric mirrors downward, or even open the drivers door to have a look - is way beyond their lone ability.
But, on a positive side, they ARE probably very good at that Candy Crush st.

Silly woman on Facebook is complaining about being fined. Totally oblivious to the fact she's parked in the middle of the road
Needless to say the comments aren't going the way she anticipated EDIT - And now she's deleted the thread

'road'= a car park
'middle'= slightly over the line

Why not just park next to that white Audi? That would save you time with handing out your notes and allow you to do something more interesting in life.Another one drives in, abandons car and goes to shop.
