Mines the TVR. The spaces either side were empty when I parked. The tt in the VW, who parked over into the parking bay I was in, left himself plenty of space the other side to get out and put on his wetsuit before going off for a Surf ! ??

To say it’s a challenge getting in a Cerbera driving seat from the passenger side is an understatement to say the least!
I hope you pushed his passenger mirror back the wrong way. Or let a tyre down

What would that achieve?

I had a very similar situation but luckily had already got back in my car when the 'perp' parked up next to me. He then struggled to get out of his car and walked straight into my wing mirror! Needless to say I was less than polite to him.

Probably meant in jest, however letting a tyre down would make you feel a whole lot better and the type of person who parks like that without giving any sts to anyone else, the only way they would learn or have any comprehension about the way they have acted would be to treat them in a similar manner to how they have behaved to yourself.

I did, the people in the camper next to his told me he was in the sea paddle boarding

Oh I was very tempted to let down a couple of tyres! But lots of paddle boarder/surfers milling around and showing some interest in my predicament. Also, I was with my 13 year old son and I didn't think that would set a good example. I just told him that we would have to trust in karma and hopefully he got attacked by a shark biggrin

It certainly would've made me feel much better, but like I say it wouldn't set a very good example to my son. I made sure that the guys parked the other side of him would make him aware of what a tt he was and to be more considerate of others in the future. I hope they did.

That's a 4 flat tyres job.
And because it's a VW, and the VW Campers are always driven by absolute toads, the engine oil draining for good measure.

Ahh, Thornton Fisheries. Then I can forgive them. At least that's certainly the case with the previous owners of the chippy.

My first thought on seeing that, was that the vehicle to the right must have been put there by a thoughtless moron, but whereas cars don’t interest me much, I have a son who’s kinda into them, from his first Golf GTi, through a few BMWs, until as a family man, his C class Merc AMG Line Estate, so I asked for his thoughts.
I showed him the shot, and said, “Who’s wrong here?”
He said that no matter who parked first, the guy on the right appeared to be out of order, but he qualified that by saying that he found it difficult to sympathise with someone who had a dick number plate like the one on the car in the middle.
I said that that wasn’t nice, and he didn’t get that from me, and he said, “No? Who threatened Tony, (his elder brother), with being thrown out of the house when he bought that decrepit old Marina with the number plate TNY?

Not sure I understand the link between a legal private numberplate on a TVR and a Marina with TNY on the plate? confused

Thanks for your contribution Frank.

Without wishing to derail the thread (which happens to be about bad parking as opposed to number plates), can you please ask your son what exactly is it about the correctly spaced, legal, private number plate on my TVR that makes it a "dick number plate" ?

It's very odd, but there are certain folk who regard ANY private number plate as such.

I remonstrated with my younger kid for taking the pi$$ out of the personalised plate TVR, and said that he wasn’t brought up to say things like that, and he reminded me of the time that I chewed his elder brother Tony out, for buying a beat up old Marina, just because Its plate was TNY, for Tony.
I was annoyed that he’d $punked £200 on a wreck, not because he wanted the plate.

Feel your pain and surfer dude clearly knew what he was doing the tt but if you had a "normal" TVR you'd have been able to get in from above wink

I reckon so, could it get into that position without hitting the BMW. But wouldn’t the BMW driver get alarm bells and not park next to that.

I also laugh when I see tiny cars like that parked like that.
