Today significant delays to our response time were caused by inconsiderate parking and heavy traffic. The road to Rowardennan was reduced to a single lane. Additionally, vehicles had blocked the emergency access track that allows us to reach incidents higher on the hill.

That's unwise parking from the point of view of the parker. Imagine the potential for damage if someone was to open that gate too enthusiastically. And repeatedly...

If this is inappropriate, feel free to remove it, but people like this should be named named shamed by the media, extract from FB, saw it on the local news last night as well.

I think this comes in near the top of bad parking, that's one word for it, others spring to mind.

I saw it on FB as well - Lomond Mountain Rescue Team.

Ever increasingly the case.
The prevailing sentiment of the police is that they aren’t one of us.

This is what happens when you become a police state.

The zero context photo of the police/emergency services always brings out the best in people...

Just leave it on the roundabout and the double yellows but it's OK because you've put your hazards on

It's wet out there today but I can't believe people have this much trouble stopping at a white line.

Probably a taxi driver. They seem to find it completely impossible to stop behind the white line at a set of traffic lights.

I usually reverse into a bay with nothing behind it, i.e. bushes etc, but if I have to reverse into a bay like this one, (I never ever drive in), I always get out and look in case I am overhanging the bay behind me, not exactly rocket science, and you never know when. PH is lurking biggrin

no idea,i couldnt see anything going on,but it would have been easy and safer for them to park somewhere with plenty of space just a few yards away from the junction.
